anyone ever play/complete this, it is the hardest longest game ever, i never completed it, its a megadrive game so you can't save, you have to start again from the beginning if you die, i have played it for 8+ hours straight and not even gotten half way though..

SS, that game's pretty rare actually. Wow. I never played that one. I played the NES game that was on a 4-game cartrdige. Um... somethign about an Island or somethign? Anyway, Dizzy has been in a rather impressive number of games. haha.

it seriously was soo hard, and after 10 hours of playing you could just die and that would be it, it sucked

The Excellent Dizzy Collection (available on the Sega Master System and Game Gear) was originally intended to include the 9th game in the core Dizzy series, Wonderland Dizzy. However the Codemasters marketing team were unhappy with the idea of two similar games in the same package, and it was decided that since Dizzy The Adventurer (a renamed Dizzy: Prince Of The Yolkfolk) was already almost completed and was generally agreed to be the better of the two games then it should be the one included. Following this decision work on Wonderland Dizzy was effectively halted. Wonderland Dizzy's place in the compilation was taken by a conversion of Dizzy Panic. The third game in the pack was Go! This game featured similar gameplay to the Dizzy series (although the game was much shorter) and stars Giddy, an egg very much like Dizzy except that rather than wear boxing gloves he simply had very large hands.
There was a sequel, Giddy 2, also on Amiga, and a third game, Giddy 3, made in 2000 for DOS, then ported in February 2009 to Windows, Mac OSX, Wii, AmigaOS 4 and MorphOS.

I had a TJ&E shooting game the Genesis also. It came with the Menacer light gun. You shot tomatoes at stuff.

Finally got a burnt Tomba to work for the psx. It's fun and clever, albeit a bit clunky. TOMBA 2 is pretty terrible. These are 2 more games I sold a long time ago and made $100! Weird that an ACTUAL COPY of Tomba won't work on my ps2, but a burnt one will. Anyway...

it's a cool little 2d sidescroller from the creator of ghosts n goblins/ghouls n ghosts. It's got some rpg elements and lots of nifty clever weird little puzzles.. you can jump into the backgrounds and whatnot..

I have the Tomb Raiders for the pc.. if you get a ps2, get Tomb Raider: Legend, it's just the first Tomb Raider remade... the best parts of it (vast landscapes, clever puzzles, minimal music) without the clunkiness. Tomb Raider 1-3 rules imo.

I would literally give my soul to play this game one more time. The demo version of this game was the VERY FIRST thing I've played on my Playstation. Never had the full game but goddammit, I'd like to have it so bad...

Also, CROC and especially CROC 2 were both amongst my favorite games back in the day.

Edit: I just realized that I actually still have my original copy of Croc. Well, gonna have fun tomorrow :D

Well, just burn it to a cd-r -- it's only 100mb or so -- and use a swap trick and you can play it again. It's simple.

Ah, well, good then ! But I've seen videos on youtube of guys doing swap tricks on a PSX.

There are swap tricks for PS1, PS2 (fat and slim), and PS3.. all extremely easy to do.

I use a fat PS2.
