I feel like a tool today. Why?, you ask. I'll tell you why. I'm wearing a Banana Republic navy-blue fitted T-shirt, Old Navy stone-colored khakis, and white Jack Purcell Converse sneakers sans socks. Just like some latter day James Dean.
All the while listening to Trompe Le Monde and trying to get some work done. But anyway, I'm age appropriate. After taking all the abuse here for months on end about how I dress, I've decided to try to dress more like a fuddy-duddy suburbanite. Thanks a lot. You guys win. |
You shouldn't fucking care what we think gmku
|
Ha ha. I don't. Trust me. I don't. You think I'd be wearing my white Jack Purcells & stone khakis if I did!

![]() This is a Van Halen logo on cement that is next to the Hyatt Hotel downtown Houston. In 1985-86 the Episcopal Diocese of Texas held it's yearly convention here and my younger brother Xavier and I went with my dad and we walked around and we found this patch of wet cement. I could think of nothing to write so I put the Van Halen logo (I was 11-12) and when I started parking at the parking garage close adjacent to this building I found this again! Like 22 years later!! it is still there! ha ! |
That's pretty awesome Rob :D
More the story than the Van Halen logo, I don't give a shit about Van Halen. |
ahhahaha on the VH. I WAS 11-12 years old! Van halen was the shizzety in 1985.
I have written on wet ecment maybe 15 times in my life and I never ever remmeber wher it was or to go back and see if is still there. this was a neat day when I found that. |

Those are ice clouds, Rob. I don't remember what they are called off the top of my head, but my mom is a science teacher and she pointed out some clouds like that when I was a kid and told me they had ice in them.
