I'm partially through 1984 by George Orwell, but I think I'll give it the flick and read Dylans bio again.

I'm still on Burrough's The Soft Machine.

It's...okay.

Not my favorite though.

This is my first one, actually. I mean like first comic book not for kids. Unfortunately it is Czech only. The title can be translated as "Doctor Women or Another strange game with elephants". It reminds me of noir movies, but it is kinda funny too.

Damn, this thread got buried. I had to dig under seven dozen threads about your parents' sexual preferences to find it! Anyhow...

Just started Sailing Bright Eternity, the last of the Galactic Center saga by Gregory Benford.

It's a good read that hungry planet. Although it's the pictures that do it.

I'm reading the Penguin classic edition of Meister Eckhart's selected writings (mostly sermons). Good, and ever so slightly mental.

My girlfriend ordered in and bought me Mix Tapes by Thurston Moore. It's very cool. I'm reading bits and pieces here and there. Not in the mood to read a novel or whatever at the moment. Mix Tapes is a nice book.

Just finished Tropic of Cancer last night. GREAT BOOK. Also finished "Bad Monkeys" by Matt Ruff this morning. Ok read, played out very much like a Hollywood action flick if you ask me, as though it's how he pictured to story as he wrote it.

fugazifan 02.05.2008 04:32 PM

i love Tropic of cancer
