|

r u shur? |
Do it!
I sold my Blues Driver. Getting a Polyphase and either a Catalinbread Semaphore Tremolo or a EHX Microsynth. Although I really want a tubezipper too. |
yeah, blues drivers are shit, after the turbo rat im getting a small stone phaser or another fuzz pedal.
those carl martin vintage trems are goddamn sexy though, drools... |
Well, I like the sound I could get with a solid state and a blues driver- but it sucks with my bassman- sounds like ass, I'd rather just turn the preamp up on my bassman and play harder for the same effect.
|
haha sounds like ass...
|
Wow buzzo you know a lot about pedals, I have the vaguest idea of what the hell you guys are talking about.
|
what what whaaaat????? electric mistress is due to run out on musicians friend next year, are they discountinuing it??? fuck
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...dal?sku=153302 |
Maybe they'll make a micro-mistress!
|
if they fucking discontinue it before i get it, i will get angry, very very angry.
i love filter martix though ,its so cool but i cant afford a poly chorus, which has a separate circut for filter matrix... sexy... i really dont know what to get now, a rat or a small stone by EXH. or something... i dont know and yeah, static, im a gearhead |
Quote:
dude, i wouldn´t buy the Small Stone get a MXR Phaser instead i tried both and the Mxr is sounds better imo, allthough i usually prefer Ehx pedals |
its all very well having lots of effects and whatnot but if you still just play riff rock then i dont see the point. do a lot of people get effects units because everyone else does? i want to see people use them in an interesting way and not just nirvana riffs.
|
Quote:
Are you talking to me ? well, i agree with you anyway |
not to anyone specifically, just generalising.
|
i see,
and as said, i totally agree on this. i like to use my effects for vocals and saxophone you can get so cool sounds for example: sax -> Frequenzy Analyzer - Memory Man (turning the knobs while someone playes) -> amp..... that´s fun |
i agree with jon boy. was this for me ? if yes, no i dont play nirvana riffs, so dont think im like this nirvana fan boy like everyone else does according to my shit username
|
the boss super octave sounds fucking A. its awesome, has balls
|
I was gonna buy a Small Clone chorus pedal. But, I tried it out and was unsatisfied
|
Quote:
a polychorus is much better. its a bit too expensive though |
Quote:
It's funny, when I read this I thought you were talking about the Memory Man, since there have been rumors floating around about them being discontinued, which isn't true. FYI, The poly chorus is essentially an Electric Mistress with chorus and echo built in too... |
![]() Last pedal I bought. It's nice. I'm trying to sell my Talk Box pedal. But not having much luck. |
Quote:
Buzzo, you say it's like a Fuzz Face? What are they like? **(I'm not too familiar with pedals, I only have cheap shitty ones...two FAB's [OD and Flange], a shit Chorus, and multi.) |

Thanks! Yeesh, does it get any more exciting than that, though? It sounds pretty flippin' bland...? |
Ibanez SoundTank Classic Metal (Free)
Dano Chorus DOD Sustainer 515-A (my main pedal that I always use) Beringher X V-amp Amp/Effect modeler (rarely use because it gets terrible and uncontrolable feedback on most settings, so you have to be like 30 feet away to use it) |

HAHA. I never used it. It's brand new. I work in a shop where we sell musical equipment, so I ordered in a ton of fucking pedals, put them on laybuy (pay away or something I think you mob call it) and take them home anyway and use them live. Then I realised I didn't actually want to pay them all off and that I don't really need the Talk Box, so I'm trying to off that from the list to save myself money. Quote:
$180 brand new. Recommended retail price is $280/$300. |
Quote:
fuzz face-jimmy sound. ![]() its around 120 and i can get it for 99 but i dont need it. its not really that rattle speaker fuzz sound. |
Quote:
Those look cool, I want to try one out sometime. |
yeah they look cool, musiciansfriend soundclips are pretty cool. it doesnt sound vintage to me.
i reaalllly want the diamond sea phaser, which one is it and where can you get one?/. oh yeah, i just remembered that i already made a thread about that. |
Quote:
It is cool. You can keep layering sound over and over until you just have this repeated wall of noise. It's fun to mess around with. |
how much is that pedal man? it certanly looks cool
|
I think I'm paying about $260. They retail at about $400 something, I think.
|
okay, i saw it on musiciansfriend , its about 120. thats expensive i thought it was gonna be cheap since its danelectro
|
that thing does look pretty cool...buzzo you now have the best sig as far Im concerned....i saw the he-man jizz hit the boys and thought it was really funny, and then when i saw it hit little miss spears and then tom cruise i was dying.
