Well, I like the sound I could get with a solid state and a blues driver- but it sucks with my bassman- sounds like ass, I'd rather just turn the preamp up on my bassman and play harder for the same effect.

i tried both and the Mxr is sounds better imo, allthough i usually prefer Ehx pedals

its all very well having lots of effects and whatnot but if you still just play riff rock then i dont see the point. do a lot of people get effects units because everyone else does? i want to see people use them in an interesting way and not just nirvana riffs.

Theyre not being discontinued - there out of stock and that's when the next shipment will be in. I'm sure eventually they will make a micro version.

FYI, The poly chorus is essentially an Electric Mistress with chorus and echo built in too...

I work in a shop where we sell musical equipment, so I ordered in a ton of fucking pedals, put them on laybuy (pay away or something I think you mob call it) and take them home anyway and use them live. Then I realised I didn't actually want to pay them all off and that I don't really need the Talk Box, so I'm trying to off that from the list to save myself money.

It is cool. You can keep layering sound over and over until you just have this repeated wall of noise. It's fun to mess around with.
