Early on, 2 members (on left, duh !!) who weren't with them once they became famous

And of course, later on. ROCK AND ROLL !!!!! :D

Kinda cool, George is pictured on the right of each photo and look at his posture....similar !!

I was looking for a decent image of the back cover of Kollaps, but this will do.

ROCK'N'ROLL:

against_the_grain 05.17.2007 07:57 AM

^ yeah, but junk-rock !!!

The least interesting thing about Kiss was their music.

Protectmeyou 05.18.2007 07:23 AM

their mid 70's output was decent, but it was always 10% music and 90% showmanship. it would have been great to be 16 years old in 1975 living in America.

I just found some recently exposed photos of Led Zeppelin, some of which haven't been seen. Not sure if this is one or not but it's rocknroll !! from 1969.

It's nice to see the band performing from something other than a low angle.

And now for the serious one, the mythical wall of sound. only the grateful dead could sink millions of dollars into a sound system so unnecessarily loud.

against_the_grain 05.22.2007 05:12 PM

Hey...in that '69 Zeppelin shot I posted, check this out. Someone pointed out that they think that's J.J. Jackson (LA dj back then) in front of Jimmy Page. Well....I think this is the same guy several years later interviewing Robert Plant, also of Zep, on The Midnight Special (mid 70s rock TV) :D Just thought it was cool !

pantophobia 05.22.2007 06:25 PM

my mom apparently saw Led Zeppelin in 69 open for The Who, somehow she doesn't remember a thing:rolleyes: , well after that she became rather boring anyways

pantophobia 05.22.2007 06:45 PM
