The Moores (Thurston and Gene Moore) participate with one track in a massive compilation of experimental music curated by Tom Smith (To Live and Shave in L.A.). Some other collaborators: Lasse Marhaug, Anla Courtis, Wolf Eyes, Charles Hayward, and Lucas Abela. Limited edition of 100 tapes (with micro-fanzine and poster).

"Mats Gustafsson's Diskaholics!- Record Collector Confessions", a book of interviews with notorious record collectors such as Thurston Moore, Paal Nilssen-Love, Robert Crumb, Oren Ambarchi, and others, is set for release in November on Lasse Marhaug's imprint, Marhaug Forlag. A 7" single will be included, as well as illustrations and 25 of Mats Gustafsson's Top-10 vinyl lists.

Thurston Moore, Lawrence Cook & Jon Voigt have a track called "Fuzz Against Junk" on this compilation, "Vision ONE: Vision Festival 1997 Compiled", by AUM Fidelity Records. Originally released in 1998 as a double CD, but now available in the digital realm, too:
