Agreed. It's weird because he's sort of Weezy's mentor, but he's been far surpassed and now just sort of rides coat tails.

Was listening to Berlin- pleasure Victim.

Now Britney Spears-Blackout.

noisereductions 09.17.2008 07:26 AM

Pleasure Victim is awesome... and I actually meant to get the Britney album since it came out, but never got around to it. A lot of what I read about it made it sound like it'd actually be her best.

✌➬ 09.17.2008 07:27 AM

It is actually one of her best albums. It's one hell of a good pop album.

atsonicpark 09.17.2008 07:29 AM

I heard like 2 or 3 tracks from it over time, and always thought that the production was really good... reminded me of ANNIEMAL or something.

✌➬ 09.17.2008 07:31 AM

Yeah, give it a try download it from somewhere.

MellySingsDoom 09.17.2008 07:39 AM

^^^That's a top album, especially for "Christine", "Paradise Place" and "Red Light". (One of my first Banshees buys when I was 16).

noisereductions 09.17.2008 07:41 AM

I have no Banshees.

Cantankerous 09.17.2008 07:42 AM

now i have juju on

spellbound is fkn ace

MellySingsDoom 09.17.2008 07:51 AM

"Juju" is probably my second fave Banshees LP, after "The Scream". Every song a killer, and no mistake. My own faves are "Halloween" and "Nightshift". "Arabian Knights" kicks ass too.

Cantankerous 09.17.2008 07:55 AM

i love siouxsie.

atsonicpark 09.17.2008 07:58 AM

Cantankerous 09.17.2008 07:59 AM

Spellbound would suit you vocally, and I can imagine the energy and glam you would put into it, but the other two are wicked choices as well. Tell you what, let me think on it, and I'll PM you with what I reckon later on tonight :)

noisereductions 09.17.2008 09:28 AM

atsonic, is that a Fridman solo project or...?

atsonicpark 09.17.2008 09:29 AM

No, just something he produced.

That album cover's great.

atsonicpark 09.17.2008 09:35 AM

Also, it's one of the albums of the year.

http://rapidshare.com/files/145282257/ZAZEN_BOYS_4.rar.html

Some of the most complex math rock stuff ever mixed with crazy funk and dance and electronic parts. Like a lite prog rock band with really. Great!

And, indeed, produced by David Fridman.

noisereductions 09.17.2008 09:39 AM

I read the Lips are back in the studio... I wonder if Dave's producing this one? I dnt remember his name being mentioned. I do remember that Wayne said the new shiz sounds like John Lennon vs Miles Davis. hottt.
