I misread Amash as Amish. Now that would be interesting! Hmm I tried to read up on Amash by checking out his Wiki page but fell asleep, no kidding. But he's an interesting guy even though I would not necessarily agree with his views

Some of his notable points was a very long voting record where he didn't miss any vote. On top of that, he famously explained why he voted on every vote. Very transparent.

i remember checking stats for my state, and i probably mentioned it years ago in this same thread. the combined totals for democrat and 3rd parties wasn't enough to overtake our electoral votes going to Trump. Unless we've somehow managed to swing that far, I suspect the same will happen again.

So being that I'm still not in a swing state by any means, I'm voting for who I actually want to go in, and the idea that I could potentially vote Amash, is intriguing.

I bet I know how this proceeds now: The judge (Obama appointee, surely!) will (rightly) deem that Flynn is still guilty, and that these notes have no effect whatsoever. Cue the outrage in Trumpyworld. Flynn gets pardoned very quickly (fuck you Obama!) and plays a major role in Today's GOP. While the dust still settles, Stone gets pardoned.
