I hate volleyball. In high school we had to play it every time we had PE classes.

Her band's music might have been rubbish but she is one gorgeous looking kickboxer. These days she works in the same record shop i used to work in.

Not that i know of.
|
She is a kickboxer?
I had to sit through Echobelly before seeing Electrafixion once. Electrafixion totally ruled, and Echobelly was indeed quite lame. She's beautiful though. I like that haircut she has in the picture porky posted. |
Yeah,in the early days the british music press used to point it out often. She is fucking beautiful(and sweet) in the flesh too.Electrafixion were horrendous!
|
Horrendous?
Did you ever see them? I thought they were great. Certainly much better than what they did after they started using the Bunnymen moniker again. |
Yes.I've seen them live a few times and i thought they sounded like Spirea X Mk 2.
|
Huh.
Well, I thought they were good, plus I got to meet Will Sergeant at that show, so my mood was mighty high. Nice guy! |
i never thought she was that nice. i preffered that one out of the cardigans.
|
Does he not play in that supergroup kinda thing now? What are they called again?Memory fails me.They seem to have a more experimental streak to them. The Bunnymen took the mickey the minute i've heard that single with Liam Gallagher doing the backing vocals.Accidentally, are you a fan of McCulloch's solo work?Candleland is a mighty fine record.

Considering there's usually no more than a dozen board members signed on but about 200 lurkers!? Um, I think that tells us something. In any case, it feels kind of creepy with all those lurkers out there watching our little gang putting on our show.... |
What are you two talking about? This thread is now about Echobelly and Echo And The Bunnymen.
|
The lurkers are welcome to join us if they wish. But I suspect they are scared of being unable to keep up with the standards of our scathing wit and scintillating banter, and so they prefer to just stand on the sidelines and gawp.
|
It's just going through one of its lulls at the moment.
Put it down to Christmas. A lot of regulars haven't been around much lately. |

And THAT'S how bad this forum has got! |
Oh, stop being so fucking reasonable, Pookie.

Anyone like The Wolf Eyes?

Oh, stop being so fucking indie, Pookie.

I was thinking the opposite. I think they prefer to stand on the sidelines and laugh at us. |

watch it! we might start reffering to things as being a bit sonicl. |

I vote we keep the lurkers out. Porky's doing stirling work so far, but he can't do it all on his own.
The cliquier the better. How's that for being dangerous, sonicl? |
Wolf Eyes are good and everything, but I probably still prefer the Bunnymen (1986 and back).
Mac's solo album never really did it for me, I'm afraid. I do have some weird 7" Sergeant did as "Glide," which I like. I also like his "Themes For Grind" solo LP quite a lot. |
