they look stupid (as most black metal bands do, except for darkthrone who understate the evil look and therefore look more evil), but sound amazing.

lightning bolt, some might not agree but i really think chippendale with his cut off shorts raggedy colorful shirts mountain shoes and homemade masks artsy crust punker look and gibson's grimey hippey look, with the wierd pattern sweaters and tees, looks fucking great.

Unless you're a long-standing Chocolate Monk obsessive, the odds of you having heard MB when Clinic first wore the masks are very small. I haven't heard Clinic since their first album (which I didn't like as much as the early singles) but they were pretty exciting (for a bit).
