I use Firefox for pretty much everything, except when I'm forced to use IE. That means when I'm at work or for those 1-2 sites/applications that only work with IE.

opera can individually mask or identify itself as internet explorer so amking it possible to use those websites.

You can do that with Firefox too, but I'm lazy and just click the IE icon instead.

you just have to do it once, it stays on the website preferences.
does the firefox extension do that as well?

I don't know because I, like I said, use IE for those sites.

It rarely happens anyway, the only thing I can think of right now is when I watch live football streams on livefooty.

I can't discuss Opera because I've never tried it.
Maybe it's great, but FF has worked for me so far and as they say, man is a habitual animal...

i'm not picking on you or ff... i simply posted about it because some people uncomfortably trapped with ie might find that feature interesting.

Firefox makes you hip, IE says that you just go for the default that a proprietary company gives you.

My thing with Internet Explorer, for whatever reason I used it for a few years without a problem.. one day, it just flat-out stops working.. will not load anything at all. I say fuck this and completely remove it (I figured I'd just use the fucking Winamp web browser for a while if I had to) and chat on the still-working AIM and some guy said "Firefox." And that guy is cool.
