I really like the Firefox plugin DownThemAll for multiple HTTP downloads.

To HBJ (and others): FileZilla has always been my FTP client of choice. Maybe upgrading Total Commander to a newer version helps? Link:

The thing is, downloading from Utkonos is a completely different deal as long as the files are HTTP accessible - use a program like ReGet Deluxe and you'll have the goodies on your computer in record time.

my internet speed limit is about 50kb/s but it usualy only downloads about 15kb/s.

my uploads speed is always between 40-60kb/s.

i really don't understand why it's so slow but it's been like it for years now. i'm still downloading the Sonic Youth ACL video from dime and i started getting it the day it was announced.

Thanks for all the uploads here though. i'm sure i will get them in the end

ilduclo 02.03.2011 03:36 PM

Holy crap, those are some terrible speeds. I range from 500 to 700 with DSL (at home) and 800-1200 with fiber at work!

by the way, for the Nels Cline fans, there's a few good ones on Archive.org featuring Nels in the Scott Amedola band

http://www.archive.org/details/ScottAmendola

all the ones there, except the 2011 set have Nels on gtr and are pretty nice recordings, too.

ps, HBJ, thanks for the Derek !

Haven't downloaded it yet. Repeating my question: what's the filler?

barrett 02.04.2011 03:32 PM

enemy: 2008@cradle
fracture: san diego2008
lucia: 9-4-09@ southgate house, cincinnati/kentucky(I recorded that)
That's all the details that I know.
I have 3 shows you don't have(I think), I'll post them, I hope that you could post some stuff from 1996.

My hard drive is currently at work - so I'll post some '96 shows on Monday.

Can you post the full Cincinatti show you recorded? What equipment (mic, deck/ssr) did you tape it with?

Also, do you have the full San Diego 2008 show?

Questions, questions, questions....have a good weekend everyone!

barrett 02.04.2011 04:36 PM

I will post the full San Diego show today. The Southgate show will take some time, my bandmate's girlfriend has it. I'll get it to you soon though

barrett 02.04.2011 06:04 PM

I also want to get you: Portland 10-7-09 unless you have that already. It's really good.

barrett 02.05.2011 05:17 PM

Rappard, I am going to PM polvo@ Cat's Cradle: 7-24-09.
I will try to post the folder.

barrett 02.05.2011 06:07 PM

Why can't I post links here? It works, but when I refresh the page it's gone.
Any help.

Does anyone have any Broadcast from around 1999-2000? I saw them in Louisville, KY. A better show could not exist.
Thanks.

Carbone 02.14.2011 01:04 PM

This is probably a long shot, but apparently there are recordings of some shows that Kan Mikami and Hijokaidan's Jojo Hiroshige did together? Does anyone here happen to know anything about these? Either way, thanks in advance.
