The elite democrats will do whatever it takes to hold power in the party, even if it means not nominating the person best positioned to go against Trump. But yes, he is their only shot at winning 2020. Trump would steamroll Biden, Warren and everyone else. He is the only option and I've been saying this on here forever now.

Trump should have been impeached much earlier due to his actions regarding children at the border, his incessant prejudice against large sections of the country, the close links held between his presidency and his financial interests, his support for military intervention in various parts of the world etc. But no, Pelosi and Schumer decide to impeach on a trivial diplomatic scandal involving their favoured potential nominee. Complete ineffectual phonies. Both your political parties are rotten to the core and Bernie is the one shining light on the side of everyday people and their actual concerns.

If you genuinely think they could win an election against Trump then you're delusional. Realistically, it will be Bernie or Biden. Biden has years of baggage for Trump to pounce on and clearly has zero political acumen anymore considering how shoddy his campaigning is. Bernie is the one and the polls are showing that now.

This article is nonsense. Trump is scared of Bernie getting the nomination. He has said in leaked audio recordings that Bernie would be his toughest opponent and that he was relieved that Sanders wasn't Hillary's VP choice.

Went along and did the ISideWith and WaPo candidate quizzes. Unsurprisingly, I'm largely a Sanders fangirl - which puts me fairly close to Warren as well. Therefore, c'mon Sanders/Warren ticket.

I'm also apparently close to Yang (via the Washington Post one), but it turns out the stuff we disagree on is fairly important to me. Plus I get a feeling that he might sell out at some point fairly soon after. (That, and the Yang Gang are annoying.)
