Update re: Raincoats for anyone that gives a turd.

Rough Trade DO have copies of Odyshape left over and are apparently getting their first album in this week, so I'll have it by Monday. I got Odyshape through today. What's also nice is that the CD version I have isn't on DGC; it's a label called Second Wind.

SO, if you're into them and wanting to pick either of those up... Rough Trade's your best bet if you don't want to get ripped $35 apiece.

Nah, in a year or two I'm sure some label like 4Men, Simply Vinyl, or Sundazed will pick it up and reissue it. I can wait.

Top album. The thing I like about this band is that they never sound like any other band.

MellySingsDoom 04.01.2007 10:07 AM

I bought the Grinderman album a couple of days ago, and very good it is too.

demonrail666 04.01.2007 10:11 AM

'No Pussy Blues' is a bit too accurate for me to endure right now.

Everyneurotic 04.01.2007 11:20 AM

descartes a kant - paper dolls

like mixing deerhoof if they had more attitude and the locust if they didn't get that tiresome. and that doesn't begin to make them justice.

Paid €17 for it. Cheaper than normal for a double.

I got these imported from Australia on a remastered 2-for-1 CD - freakin' marvellous. I really wanted Irresistable Impulse but that's impossible to find and usually obscenely expensive. The label for that CD's Munster Records, anyway.

FREDDY!LUNDBERG! 04.03.2007 07:57 AM

Certainly does. Dig the cut out thing. Quite like the record but it's a bit calm for my taste. I remember it being more firey.

Anyway, won on ebay:
