I've just attempted to put a Kousokuya bootleg up here twice, but my posts don't seem to be coming through. Do you need special permission to post stuff like megaupload links or something of that nature?
|
pm me the link and I'd be glad to do so

i think you might need to have more than 10 posts to be able to post a link, something like that. |
following is post for Carbone
"Kousokuya - Live in Osaka, 09.21.01" http://www.megaupload.com/?d=GXB733IR Not my recording nor my upload; it was posted recently on a blog that I frequent. Unfortunately, it's not in FLAC, just mp3. Still, Kousokuya stuff is (as far as I know) really hard to come by, so someone here will probably dig it. Thanks for posting this for me." -----------------ild |

Hi, ilduclo. The job was good. Unfortunately, i always tend to not have as much spare time as i'd wish, to spend on the internet. Everything's sort of calm for now, and i have to say i really appreciate and enjoy these moments...
The Soup Nazi, that's a good bet. And i sometimes would maybe like to be a hit-man, if only for the money -i'd suppose no human life should be cheap. However, i think i wouldn't like to have nightmares related with killing anytime i'm sleeping. Shit's already complicated as it is. Truth is, i just had to go running to a consulate located plenty of miles away from home to get my work visa. I'm actually boring, and there ain't no evil in my soul:)... Thanks both of you for the welcome as well. I'm wishing you, and everybody else for that matter, a very happy holiday season. May Santa Claus bring you a lot of presents, and more importantly health, love and happiness for you and all your loved ones. I thank you most kindly for all the kick-ass sharing you're doing, Mike. I also encourage you to check my list and request anything from it. If there is anything you'd think you'd like to hear, i would really love to reciprocate: http://db.etree.org/hipster_bebop_junkie JOHN ZORN & FRED FRITH Tonic New York City, New York, USA January 29, 2000 Marc Ribot joins in on track 6. http://www.sendspace.com/file/m3zgc9 |

Ilduclo, you are most definitely on the top of my "people to buy a beer" list. Thanks for the Fushitsusha stuff and for putting up the Kousokuya link.
Also, thanks for the info Stu666. I need to get around the forums more :). |

I've been reading the pages of this thread that i missed, and now i understand why my dime account wasn't banned this time due to inactivity. I donated at some point to support the site and maybe even when that terrible eartquake destroyed Haiti a while ago. Never expected that would grant me the privilege of having the right to let my account unused while i was away and then find it active when i came back. Thanks belatedly for the suggestion, Martin. Also, thanks a lot for the Caspar Brötzmann!
ilduclo, i look forward to check out this new Fushitsusha soundboard recording you've just shared. Thank you so much! Here's the Es & Fursaxa show you requested. Hope you enjoy: ES & FURSAXA CCA Glasgow, Scotland September 19, 2008 http://www.sendspace.com/file/0s1w6t By the way, i just saw this old post: http://www.sonicyouth.com/gossip/sho...postcount=1555 Did you ever manage to successfully decode those flac files? If i somehow messed it up when uploading that Throbbing Gristle show, i apologize. I'm able and willing to re-upload a flawless version, you just have to say the word. |
I think i've uploaded this in the past, but since it was requested, here it is again:

As some o' y'alls know, for some crappy reason I can upload "big" files only to YouSendIt (the reason has to be crappy considering I can seed shit up via torrent at a pretty decent speed without any problems). SO, these links will expire in a week - get 'em while they're HAWT:

Hüsker Dü - live @ g.s. vig's, madison, wi, March 1st 1984 (MP3)
One of the best bootlegs I've ever heard, not quality wise (which in this case it's a nice SBD recording B+/A-) but performance wise. Bob's guitar sound comes right from the deep hell. Grant's drumming and rhythm can make spirits appear as in a ritual procession. And, in a way, you can "see" how Greg is jumping all over the stage. You gotta love the setlist: 01. Birthday (Beatles cover) 02. Something I Learned Today 03. It's Not Funny Anymore 04. From The Gut 05. Wheels 06. Everything Falls Apart 07. Chartered Trips 08. Somewhere 09. Eight Miles High (Byrds cover) 10. Sunshine Superman (Donovan cover) 11. Pink Turns To Blue 12. Broken Home, Broken Heart 13. Drug Party 14. Diane 15. Gravity 16. Masochism World 17. Bricklayer / Tired of Doing Things 18. What Do I Want? 19. Pride 20. Pride (continued) 21. Data Control 22. Out on a Limb 23. Helter Skelter (Beatles cover) 24. Helter Skelter (continued) 25. In a Free Land 26. Birthday (Beatles cover) 27. Statues It's been my fave live show for a while. I hope some huskers fans can upload more shows from this tour. I love how they still pulled songs from LSR: the Bricklayer / TODT combo will knock you out!. Excellent renditions of Zen Arcade songs which had not been released at that time yet. An special mention to my personal favs: from the gut, sunshine superman (bob's guitar is perfect here!), drug party, gravity and data control. Some nice covers (celebrating Greg's and Grant's birthdays perhaps?) Anyway, I hope you enjoy it! Please PM if you have more huskers stuff, we might set up an online trade or an old school trade. I'm also looking for the self titled Nova Mob album. I'd really appreciate if somebody could upload that album. Happy 2011!!! http://www.mediafire.com/?a3rc46rr5ebc5w2 |
Thanks for the Hüsker Dü, Andrés.

Alright, sounds good! Speaking of owing ilduclo, now that I have ten posts in, I might be able to throw up a couple as well. 1. Melvins I also have a Haino set lying around here somewhere that I don't think has been upped yet, so I'll throw that up in the morning. In the mean time I've got to get some sleep. Take care. |
