You should try some other dubstep before you write it off. I like me a lot of the stuff I have heard but I absolutely HATED the Burial record. I thought it sounded like really, really bad coffee table trip hop. I second the Digital Mystikz and Skream reccommendations. Listen to Request Line by Skream. It's a dubstep classic (It might be under the name Midnight Request Line which, according to my dubstep mad friend, is due to a printing mistake on a compilation and the name has stuck). Also check out Bass Clef. |
