first flac file in the dust is corrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrupt:( ! C:\000flac\LightningDust_2010-05-06_London_16Bit.rar: CRC failed in LightningDust_2010-05-06_London_16Bit\01_Take Me Back.flac. The file is corrupt |

This is the file I got from Dime; TLH and FLAC Tester say it's A-OK: http://www.sendspace.com/file/dx9m56 Now that I think about it, I've had problems myself recently with zip/rar files I have uploaded to SendSpace. People I've sent the links to say they receive corruption alerts when unzipping the damn things. Stu, did you use SendSpace Wizard to upload this one? |
Quote:
Thanks Soup Nazi, yeah i use the Sendspace Wizard to upload everything, the strange thing is that i've had some people saying the files are ok when other people are getting the corrupt message so i'm a bit confused. maybe trying to download again would fix it. i hope this works ok: Haino Keiji + Jim O'rourke + Kuge Yoshio "Shinjuku JAM", Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan 2010-05-20 Part 1. http://www.sendspace.com/file/bsxsxr Part 2. http://www.sendspace.com/file/esbgtg Part 3. http://www.sendspace.com/file/lc4o93 Part 4. http://www.sendspace.com/file/nelsg1 |

|
the Hainer, JO'r worked great, I'm still grabbing the Lad Jan set,
thanks, Stu, let me know if I can send you something,,,,,,I just recorded Isis, any interest in that? |
OK superstars, here's FIG!
http://www.sendspace.com/folder/lilexv To avoid fucked up shit I created a folder and ya gotta download the files individually. My theory about the corrupt-ass sitch is this: when you upload a somewhat large zip/rar file using SendSpace Wizard (which is better than uploading just with your browser, anyway), the connecsh is likely to eventually circle the drain and just STOP. Of course, then you can click on Start again until the upload is finished. Now, I understand zip/rar files work with some sorta fingerprint system to ensure that what's extracted is EXACTLY what you zipped in, right? I'm thinking that the stop-and-start upload might mess with said fingerprint thingumybob, which causes the corruption alerts, even though the zipped files themselves are not altered (people have told me they can listen to the tunes anyway). On the other hand, I might be fulla crap. Speaking of Nels, I watched Ashes of American Flags again last night and the man is simply on FIRE. He's absolutely stunning on the usual suspects ("Side with the Seeds", "Impossible Germany"), but I was blown away when he went APE GUANO on "Via Chicago" and especially the end of "Shot in the Arm" - INSANELY PHENOMENAL. And as if that wasn't enough, guy quotes "Marquee Moon" on "Handshake Drugs". Heaven, man, heaven. If you wanna watch and hear him RAWK, get that DVD goddammit. |

I'm grabbing the Fig set now, thanks kindly, Mr SN.
Nels is always great to see,a real nice guy, too..... but I like him better on his own, with White Out, with Zeena or with other bands than Wilco, but then I don't really like much "alt country"....... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmaaammmmmmmmaaaaaaaaaaaa fig2010-05-13t03.flac: file is truncated or otherwise corrupt. fig2010-05-13t04.flac: file is truncated or otherwise corrupt. corruption seems to follow me everywhere (been reading too much Herta Muller) |

Alright, off-topic(ish), but just because I'm mighty golden (and an obsessive bastard who collects stuff like Wilco's Summer Tour 2009 Program, where I found this little nugget of entertainment), here's Nels' Top 5 7-inch 45s:

Come to think of it, ilduclo, I don't think I have any unofficial recordings of Cline with Zeena. And I luuuuv Zeena. I would totally GET with THAT. So if you have one, count me in. |

An of course, Nels' Public Service Announcement is priceless... |
he's just a real nice guy, I've sat with him and shared a drink a couple of times, a real genuine person, and he's very politically and environmentally conscious, too.

At the request of RanaldoNecro, here's some recent Ig:
Iggy and The Stooges, Dundas Square, June 19, 2010, Toronto Canada It's a SendSpace folder, so you can download the .txt file for details before going for the whole thang. I made sure no malevolent stop-and-start shenanigans took place while uploading. Please let me know whether all files check out A-OK. |

Nice site here :). Just happened to come across it a couple of days, through this thread actually, and was absolutely delighted to see all of the Keiji Haino and Fushitsusha stuff I hadn't heard before here. Thanks a lot for those guys!
Also, after reading the first post, I'm guessing requests are ok? I'm kinda of nutty for Haino/Fushitsusha stuff, and (I think) I already grabbed all of the stuff posted here so far. Any other Haino/Fushitsusha bootlegs out there that could be posted here? A huge thanks in advance :D |
Welcome. I think all the Haino boots I have are buried in links on here. But it's nice to have you on board.
|
Thanks for the links, and the welcome guys.
