yeah, but not as good as the last one (fall heads roll).

Iain 02.12.2007 05:01 PM

I didn't hear Fall Heads Roll even. I think I'll probably go and see them next month though. It's quite expensive I think, £15 or thereabouts. I'll try and blag my way in for free.

Also, won on ebay about 10 minutes ago:

Anyone who had the pre-release downlaod version should be warned that the LP version of 'Reformation' is 25 seconds or so shorter, so you have two versions. Don't throw that dl one away.

I'm given to understand that the dl version of 'Reformation' is identical to the 'exclusive' version that comes with the latest issue of Uncut magazine.

Rob Instigator 02.12.2007 05:50 PM

what's with this forum and british bands?

Awwwesome. They're real good

Rob, people like The Fall because they're good! Not because they're British.

Rob Instigator 02.12.2007 06:15 PM

I know. I am going to get me two or three fall albums and immerse myself in it.

:)

Yeah, I hope this record is decent. Pretty sure it's the later stuff with Asheton and the other guy from MC5 or whatever. The weird stuff on that ecstatic peace boxset sounds more interesting but that's super expensive.

The girl wasn't in the band at this point? That kinda sucks she added even more weirdness. I've got an album I downloaded called Gospel Crusade something. It's very interesting

She was in the band all the way through I think....Gospel Crusade is the one on Father Yod (not ecstatic peace as I said earlier, my mistake)...I can't remember if that's the name of the whole boxset or just one of the discs.

I'd like to know what this is like...if you could share your thoughts after you've given it a few spins that'd be much appreciated.
