The Smiths - Meat Is Murder

It's not as bad as I remembered it to be. In fact, it's almost as good as The Queen Is Dead.

The Saints: (I thought this was love, but this ain't) Casablanca.

Such a great band who are well deservant of a thread dedicated to them, which I'd start if I knew it wouldn't be ruined by the word 'punk'.

I just posted that a few days ago. The Saints are one of my favourite bands, and they do deserve a thread.

Norma J 02.06.2008 05:33 AM

You did? I didn't see it. I'll rep you for that though.

Definitely a band that doesn't tire on me. A Little Madness to Be Free is one of the greatest albums of all time.

In my opinion Meat is murder "rawer" production ages better than The queen is dead "poppier" and more 80s-sounding one. The queen is dead is more consistent but Meat is murder has some really brilliant songs.

I'd like to hear that!

Presently I am listening to Von's "Satanic Blood," having been inspired to do so by Boris' hideous logo in Everyneurotic's signature.

gmku 02.06.2008 03:46 PM

Does anybody care what I'm listening to? Seriously. Does anybody really care? Really? Really and truly? If you do, tell me, and I'll report what I'm listening to. If you're just going to be all, like, ho-hum, I don't care what that wanker gmku is listening to, what a boring old man, and all shit like that, and then pass by my post without giving it a thought, I'm not going to bother telling you.

(P.S. It's The Rolling Stones.)
