1966-1970 Mothers of Invention is some of the wildest, most fantastic fucking music ever. Deeply misunderstood. People for the most part just didn't get it.

I love the shit out of this band.

Jimi Hendrix Experience boxset on very deep discount (the one covered in purple paisley velvet, as Jimi would have wanted it).

It's been so long since I've listened to Hendrix that I'm honestly not sure how I feel about his music anymore. He's not one of those fixtures, like Neil Young, Zappa, or Dylan, who I may go years without hearing, but won't ever tore of. And he's not one of the bands I could comfortably go the rest of my life without hearing again (Zeppelin, Cream). I should give Electricladyland a listen.

I have had Hendrix-fever recently. People, Hell & Angels is very great release!
