AAAHHHHHH! Yakuza 3 is on the shelves, but I bought FFXIII on tuesday!

I traded my copy of FFXIII for Yakuza 3 today. It's something I had to do because the Yakuza series rocks!

will arrive in the next few days, and I hope that this will be the thing I am looking for, to keep it simple: my first fix for the shin megami tensei series.

I'm a huge fan. I discovered the Shin Megami Tensei series in 2006 when I purchased Digital Devil Saga. I was hooked. Since then I've played Lucifer's Call, Devil Summoner, Digital Devil Saga 2, Persona 3, and Persona 4. :)

I'm more of a fan of the Yakuza series.

Today, I've played Fifa 2010 at a friend's house... I've never laughed so hard while playing a video game.

We also had a little multiplayer game of Modern Warfare 2, which is decent.

I love Metroid II -- so awesome. The music is AMAZING in it too.It's so creeepy.

How are you playing? GB? GBA? Etc? I had always only played on an original GB, and then a few months ago I played it on the GBPlayer thru my Cube and I was amazed that even this early in the GB's life, Nintendo had begun secretely adding color information to the carts. Which is to say that Samus LOOKS like Samus. Red & Yellow. It's so weird.

Yeah, Metroid II rules. I just found a copy of Metroid Fusion for GBA. I'll start playing it soon enough. I have way too much on my plate already.

It is boring. Wtt for almost anything.

I'm playing it on GBA SP (the Triforce edition!), and yes it's awesome. It's really dark and it has this strange, creepy feeling all over it. Love it.
And the cover with Samus kneeling is amazing. I remember as a kid I used to browse all of these Nintendo-related brochures and when I saw the cover of Metroid II, I thought it must be the coolest game ever. The cover is like: "She's back, and it's time to stop fucking around." Or something like that.

I love the soundtrack for Super Metroid.

I love the sountrack to Grand Theft Auto IV.

and by soundtrack, I mean Massive B Soundsystem 96.9.

The combat system is a little clunky, but the plot is undeniably incredible. Lots of weird shit is afoot in Sigil.



This game is hard as shit, but it's still badass. I actually started it a long time ago but never beat it. I'm going to try it with a more mature mind, maybe I'll make it this time.

As for soundtracks I agree that Fallout, Super Metroid, and Mega Man 2 have incredible soundtracks. One of my favorites is Star Control 2, some really amazing and hilarious stuff going on there.

I'll trade for the games I am not playing.....which includes everything.

Mmm, love this game. I've tried to play through it twice, and both times I've got so far and then left it for a bit too long, so that when I came back I was totally lost. Maybe I'll load it up again....
