This is a Purple Rain tour gig soundboard, and it's supposedly the full show, so "Purple Rain" wasn't played this night.

Sheila E. probably plays additional percussion with the Revolution on this. The last track is Sheila E.'s opening set. The trader wrote that it was from this show, but it's probably actually from Miami a month later (on 4/07/85) because she mentions "Miami."
Prince played in Miami at the Orange Bowl Stadium on Easter Sunday, 1985...
he played this one first:
Let's Go Crazy (5:58)

and this one last:
Purple Rain (19:52)

Track Listing:

2. Children Of The Grave
3. Crazy Train

Diary of a Madman tour

Ozzy Osbourne - Vocals
Randy Rhoads - Guitar
Rudy Sarzo - Bass
Tommy Aldridge - Drums
Lindsay Bridgewater - Keyboards

I encoded this one at 128 kbps (still "cd quality"), so it's only 55 MB. Too bad the landing page doesn't display a decimal point and the fractions because then I could have conceivably made the download 66.6 MB haha. There's a pro-shot dvd of this show that trades; This is the stereo soundboard extracted from that, I suppose.

Looks most interesting...I'll be the first to download it, thanks.

fucking awesome man, fucking awesome!

randy rhoads is still my favorite "shredder", he always played for the song and played circles around eddie van halen.

the only thing that could make this show better was if they played over the mountain.

anyway, thanks for another awesome up.

ps: that bardo up is the archive cd release, it's out of print though and very excellent.

I was hoping you would like.
I've listened to this a couple of times before, but I just started listening to it tonight again while paying attention to the tracklisting, and I'm just now realizing how fucked the tracklist I received with this download is.

The correct set list is:
1. I Don't Know
2. Children Of The Grave
3. Crazy Train
4. Flying High Again
5. Believer
6. Iron Man
7. Mr. Crowley
8. Paranoid
9. Revelaton (Mother Earth)
10. Steal Away (The Night) > drum solo
11. Suicide Solution > Randy solo

And this is how they are sequenced in the winzip folder, so don't worry.
I edited my original post to reflect the changes.
