They dont want to be discriminated against, than they shouldn't assert and flaunt the traits that people dont like.
I dislike most of the gay people I've met because they are obnoxious, not because they like men.
I have one or two gay friends, they handle their sexuality well by not hiding it but not making it a badge of honor either.
Same goes for any race or minority: Dont be a god damn stereotype

Ok, if yo have fallen into freezing cold water and risk hypothermia then of course a cold shower will not feel great. My point is that I always like to take a cold shower, it gets your blood moving faster and when you get out, you feel like you have more energy.

Regarding brownie mix, I like to mix the oil and milk with the powder to form a frosting-esque batter, which of course I devour.
