atari 2600 08.25.2006 03:26 AM

a receiver really lets the music breathe

golden child 08.25.2006 09:33 AM

oh yeah thats another thing, do you have a reciever already?
with an input that specifically says "phono"
if not you will need to buy one of those, which could cost just as much as a turntable

or you can get this turntable, it has a builtin preamp
http://www.turntablelab.com/dj_equip...132/12851.html
its audio technica, which is a good brand and is a steal for $89 it also comes with a preinstalled cart, so you dont have to worry about that.

YR GRANDMA WORKS FOR ZERO???

Ask her for some free boards and send them to me!!!
(Zero skateboards suck but I can't say no to a free skateboard)

Alex's Trip 08.25.2006 11:06 AM

Yeah. She is an accountant or something...handles finances. She got me a couple boards once, but since I don't skate I sold them all to my friends for $20 bucks each.

That one looks really nice.

Alex's Trip 08.25.2006 01:10 PM

They are restocking it, though.

golden child 08.25.2006 02:54 PM

there are other ones with built in preamps, i saw one recently at best buy for about the same price.

HaydenAsche 08.25.2006 05:15 PM

I got one for like 200 dollars. I have no idea which brand or anything. I'm too cool to give a fuck.

yes, exactly. mine is still fully functioning.

Alex's Trip 08.25.2006 06:04 PM

Gah...I am way to indecisive.

I'm still not sure if I should buy one. I won't have a lot of places to buy vinyl. I have been wanting a drum set. But I do want a turntable too.

SHIT! I don't know

Cantankerous 08.25.2006 07:23 PM

turntables are more enjoyable. everyone thinks they want to play the drums at some point.

Alex's Trip 08.25.2006 09:34 PM

But I enjoy CDs. Why spend the money on a turntable when I can just buy a lot of CDs? What is better about vinyl? Why can't I make my own decisions?!

golden child 08.25.2006 09:55 PM

can you get cds for a quarter?
get a fucking turntable and then bang the shit out of pots and pans bro!

Toilet & Bowels 08.25.2006 10:01 PM
