Oh and by the way,my problem is not with labels per se.Some generalization is needed in life.It helps organizing things better.It's just that some labels happen to be a really lazy statement of intent.I'd shoot people in the face for saying that they like 'Black music',if you know what i mean.

IDM is an awful term. someone once reviewed a band i was in saying we contained elements of IDM, I thought it was like A.D.D until someone explained it to me. similarly I originally thought that autechre was pronounced like it was french, like oh-tres-chere.
