I think Dave has just been swamped with work.
I have your shirt set aside.
PM me your address and you'll have it soon.

Savage Clone 11.27.2010 02:11 PM

Burning World has it listed on discogs, so I would imagine it will be appearing on their mailorder website before long.
Cheaper shipping for you European types.

Savage, any chance of you guys playing Supernormal next August? I can try asking for a contribution for your fare ticket to the organisers. Accomodation shouldn't be a problem if Glice is willing to share his tent with you in the middle of nowhere. Or maybe I could build a tree-house, paint it black, and furnish it with an old dentist chair and a few skulls.

Glice 11.27.2010 02:53 PM

More than welcome in my tent Herr Drone. If things go to plan I shan't be using it anyhow.

Genteel Death 11.27.2010 02:59 PM

The only (beautiful, I must add) building in there has some tennants, including an old dear who apparently was the only one of them who enjoyed the arty types scattered on the field outside.

Someone certainly thinks highly of himself.
This surprises me not a whit.
I would love to make it over there for such a thing.
We haven't been overseas ever, so it certainly sounds appealing to me.
Plus I would really like to hang out with you guys.

Genteel Death 11.28.2010 12:38 PM

Ok here's hoping it will happen then.

Savage Clone 11.28.2010 12:49 PM

Nefeli's homemade shirt design just put both of ours to shame.
Whoa.

Genteel Death 11.28.2010 12:52 PM

I was thinking the same. Haha.
Yours reminds me a bit of Alphaville. Still like it though.

Just listening to the LP for the first time, and enjoying it very much. I've had to resist the temptation to rock out with the air guitar in a very Black Sabbath-y way several times.

Savage Clone 12.07.2010 03:05 PM

Just do it.
It feels good.

(and thanks!!)

Florya 12.17.2010 05:54 PM

Hoping mine arrives before Xmas.
It would be great if you guys could make Supernormal!

blunderbuss 06.02.2011 03:46 PM

Herr Clone really is a bit slow in the self promotion stakes, isn't he? Three weeks there's been a two song Thunderbolt Pagoda live set available to download and he hasn't mentioned it.

thanks!

Thanks for saying something. I have indeed been super busy in preparation for and in recovery from last week's Heliotrope festival (Chris Corsano and Joe McPhee's set was a lifetime highlight for me), and have been working on getting my house ready for sale. Since I have been posting so much less that usual, I felt weird about logging in just to do self-promo.
I hope you guys enjoy the new tunes, and thanks very much for taking time to listen and talk about it like this.
Means a lot, really.

Newest and last mix of Thunderbolt Pagoda's most recent recordings.
This is a side long suite in four parts, the last of which (final 2.5 minutes) feature the incredible guest vocals of Breakaway (aka Joe Kujawa, a serious young talent on our area who is making some waves with his solo stuff).
Really excited with how it turned out.

Savage hasn't posted since May......just wondering what the status is for the new Thunderbolt Pagoda release??

Once a month or so I try to remember and check out Thunderbolt Pagoda for info.

Sure wish I could have attended this show last Friday night:
