PJ Harvey and Kate Bush have nothing at all to do with Bjork. Why bother invoking them?

They all are very personal female artists. I have heard quite many female artists and all the other I´ve heard are not as personal as Bush, Harvey and Björk. I also hear some similarities in their music (for example they all have very personal style in singing, they all use electronics). I don´t see no problem to compare them.

And the point in my message was, that in my opinion Björk isn´t as good anymore as she has been.

Yeah, maybe Tori is as personal as Björk, but in my opinion Tori´s material is much more superficial than Björk´s. There is few exceptions in Tori´s material (some songs for example Horses in Boys For Pele), but Tori haven´t made any as great albums as Vespertine or Medulla. And the most interesting material of Tori reminds me to much Kate Bush.

Björk is apparently reissuing all her albums with a limited-edition coloured cassette tape run.

You can preorder them now: £8.99 each, or £69.99 for the full set.

They look extremely tempting, but I wouldn't know which one to get and the shipping would probably take a hit to my wallet.

she useta be married to Matthew Barney and his influence is pretty easy to see. So, great artistic stuff. I like her voice a LOT and the 2001 tour featured Zeena Parkins, too.

Homogenic has been one of my top 5 favorite albums since the moment I heard it in 1997. Dear god, the bass and snare of Hunter... The accordion is pretty badass too. And all the remixes! One of my favorite things to do in the late 90s was collect her singles with my friend. She would have three versions of each single with different b-sides and several singles per album. + some imports had exclusive tracks.
We spent a small fortune.
