It's a fucking Internet forum, not a spelling bee. For chrissakes, would you please stop making your only defense that you possess better grammar than everyone else?

Your posts are always critical and nonsensical. You put down current SY as often as you can. Why are you even on this forum? Go count your pubes or kill yourself. The latter preferably...

*yawn*

I put down Nurse as often as I can because I didn't find it enjoyable. Murray Street is the next newest and I like it alot.

Cock.

Cock? Wow, great comeback.

HaydenAsche 05.04.2006 05:51 PM

It wasn't a comeback, imbecille. It was a filler word. The post looked empty.

Imbecille? A little better. But alas, you're still trying to project that God-complex, which anyone that reads your posts knows is so far off that there's no word to describe it.
I've got news for you kiddo...you're dumber than you think.

I don't think I'm smart. I think everyone else is stupid.

Also, it is the fucking internet. Stop getting your panties all up in a bunch.

Thank you for your concession. I realize with you it takes an average of 3 go-arounds to get you to agree. Just doing what was necessary....

HaydenAsche 05.04.2006 05:59 PM

You would know.

Cock.

Jesus Christ this is stupid. This thread is about the new album. Not about personal aquabbles. Either talk about the new album or shut the fuck up and just get out of the board. If you want to, continue this lover's quarrel in a non SY message board section.

Listen king, I know it is stupid. However, this kid likes to make personal attacks on people sounding as if he is a know-it-all. Yet the funny thing is, he's so far from that it's almost not funny.

Resume the praise on the new album (which I love). But if someone resorts to personal attacks, I'm damn well going to stand up for them or myself if I feel so inclined. So get over it or get off the board yourself.

Otherwise, Sonic Life!

Rather Ripped is easily SY's best album since Washing Machine. Easily. But, it probably won't connect with those who got into SY during the Jim O'Rourke era, and that's ok and understandable as well.

But most fans of older SY(probably Goo through Washing Machine era) will like/love this album much more than the previous 3 albums.

Better go back to school, scout. Your spelling of imbecile is wrong.

terminal pharmacy 05.05.2006 02:03 AM

hmmm

if there are people who are let down by this album, maybe it is because their expectations were far too high. anyway im gonna wait till official release date, which is closer to the show, so the album will be fresher and more exciting when i hear it live...

I think the comedy of your posts is somewhat lost on these people. You're far too suss for someone your age. You're still a cunt though.

[Is that another quote contender?]

Interesting. I can somehow see what you are getting at, although I'm skeptical of agreement. Rather Ripped is definetly a grower, by that I mean it takes more than one listen for one to enjoy it. Besides the fact that the record could be 12 variations of peace attack and kim chords, it is a solid album. Exactly how Thurston described it, a total "rocker" of a record, RR is provkingly different from the ATL or MS sprawl that I grew to love, maybe it is a album for people who got into them during the goo-WM era, who knows. The songs from back them seem to have the straight up delivery that RR has, many have said that SY has taken a step back or regressed, but I believe that they have changed their direction, perhaps a sonic purge.

W/E!
I'm just glad they dropped the fucking jam band act..that was lame. (but actually pretty cool.)
Snake is the worst man i know and and i wish to fight him.

Really? I never understood why people say that about their last records. They are nothing like a jam band! Sure they have sonic freakouts in their songs, but they've always had sonic freakouts!

SYR reference perhaps? Sonic jams, but jams/improv nonetheless.

krastian 05.05.2006 03:04 PM

Hmmmm, well I can kind of see a SYR reference. Maybe. Not by much though.
