EDIT:
Also, I have become kind of spoiled lately and will only really drink 'expensive' alcohol now. No more whatevers on sale shit. Since drinking the more costly hard liqour, I have not had a hangover. So if you can afford the better stuff, buy it.

i go with the more expensive alchohol thing. i have worse hangovers when drinking the cheap stuff.

You've got the almighty GB at number 1. Not a bad move.

is that what you spend yr ema money on? tsk tsk.

i'm pretty sure that all a hangover is is dehydration. drink lots and lots of water. much more than you think you need. like 4 or 5 pints.

juice is also good, hydrating and vitaminey. getting out in the fresh air also seems to help, stretch those legs!!!

HaydenAsche 04.10.2007 09:18 AM

Smoke a bowl.

Seriously, it doesn't just mask your hangover for 2 hours, it'll be gone as soon as you come down.

If you're not into pot then here's my other remedy:
Cigarettes
Coffee
Pancakes
Muffins
More food with carbs
More cigarettes

tesla69 04.10.2007 09:43 AM

obviously, those of you suggesting food for a hangover have never had a real hangover...

Washing Machine 04.10.2007 09:46 AM

I used to have REAL ones when I was like 14 or 15 but sinceabout 16 ive never really had a problem..strange I know, it sees the more I drank the immune I got to hangovers..

I know what you mean. I've had a couple of really bad ones where the thought of getting up and moving around is thoroughly uninviting, let alone keeping down food.

Just Replace the Pancakes with "Palatschinken", then it´s perfect.

Im going to 'Cardiff School of Creative and Cultural Industries'..im doing music.

Iain 04.10.2007 10:05 AM

What so you mean detoc for uni? So you are fresh for more drinking when you get there?

I think I did all of my drinking at university and about 2 years prior to that. For the time being anyway. The lack of hangovers and extra change in my pocket is a boon for sure.

Yeah Lucy my uni isnt built yet. They promise it will be finished by july. But if all fails its belongs to the University of Glamorgan, so we will all have to go there whilst its being finished..

Iain 04.10.2007 10:16 AM

Is that the one that's in Treforest or somewhere obscure?

Washing Machine 04.10.2007 10:24 AM

jon boy 04.10.2007 10:28 AM

being sick with a hangover is about one of the worst things that can happen. being sick in bed is the worst.

No problem. I'm a lot more sensible than what I usd to be on the booze front, but have to admit I still find falling off the wagon once in a while to be fun. Am with you on the wine thing - I do enjoy a good red wine with a meal.

Washing Machine 04.10.2007 04:28 PM

Well I drink the cheap stuff usually when im out with my friends, but drink really good Beers and Ales all through the week. When I was younger about 13/14 (yes...i do live Wales in my defence) I used to be really into wine. I dunno ive just gone totally off it now.

Its always nice to see people actually enjoying Beer. Beer doesnt really get the respect it deserves. So many people just see it as a cheap drink.
