Besides avoiding yet another relegation battle, the best I can usually ask for in a season is some high profile scalps. Wins against Spurs (especially Spurs), Arsenal and Man U and draws against Liverpool and Chelsea almost (with an emphasis on almost) make up for the crap served up for much of the rest of the season.

Beautiful goal by Antonio and class set up by Arnie. Rather not comment on the celebration.

My hometown team's won it!
The French Cup!
They were 2-0 down and came back from that. Won it in the penalty shoot-outs 6-5...
Their opponents?
Neymar & Mbappé's PSG!

holy shit

rennes?

wow... you’ve been posting good news since the season started

congrats!

ps video not available in my region but i’ll find one

_tunic_ 04.30.2019 11:33 AM

congrats Bertrand! your link didn't work for me, so I watched this one.

holy cow! what a match. PSG missed so many chances, Mbappé was so pissed, how's the knee of that guy?
I always like when the underdog wins. I just checked the rankings because I don't follow your competition. You almost have half the points :D Your city must be in party mode for the next couple of months.

h8kurdt 04.30.2019 11:35 AM

Liked seeing Ben Arfa rubbing it in to the owner of PSG.

So tonight is the first semi final of the champions League. The team that are going against expectations Ajax Vs the team that are going against expectations Spurs.
Think not having Son is a player too many to miss for Tottenham and Ajax will give them the run around.

!@#$%! 04.30.2019 11:42 AM

damn. im on the road and i’ll miss it

_tunic_ 04.30.2019 02:39 PM

Actual comment by the Dutch reporter:
With one eye you can still play football. You'll only have a problem to measure the distance

Love it. I actually came on to comment about a line the commentator said "the last time Ajax beat an English team away was in 1980, ironically the final was in Madrid"

Ironically?! How?!! So the idea they bear Real Madrid makes it ironic? Ridiculous.

Anyway, Ajax are just swallow Spurs.

!@#$%! 04.30.2019 04:45 PM

wow, 1-0!!!

damn sorry to have missed. no replays are available in that channel. damn!

h8kurdt 05.01.2019 12:22 PM

So who's on it tonight? I'm seeing a *pauses to swallow pride* Liverpool win and it'll be down to Wijnaldum tearing it up in midfield. Predictions anyone?

!@#$%! 05.01.2019 12:36 PM

thanks for the reminder! i hope to catch it yeah.

will root for your dearest neighbors of course. sorry, “neighboUrs” (how french, lol). because mo and kloppo deserve a win from last year.

but at the camp nou? errr.... best wishes dudes lolol.

ah, shit, it should be an interesting one...

predicting a barcelona win today though. yeah. in spite of my wishes. fuck.

demonrail666 05.01.2019 01:12 PM

Barcelona: ter Stegen, Sergi Roberto, Pique, Lenglet, Jordi Alba, Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Vidal, Messi, Suarez, Coutinho.

Subs: Cillessen, Nelson Semedo, Arthur, Dembele, Malcom, Umtiti, Alena.

Liverpool
: Alisson, Gomez, Matip, van Dijk, Robertson, Milner, Fabinho, Keita, Salah, Mane, Wijnaldum.

Subs: Mignolet, Lovren, Firmino, Henderson, Shaqiri, Origi, Alexander-Arnold.

Firmino out will be a blow. and was expecting Henderson to start over Milner.

Can't wait for this

Prediction 3-1 Barcelona (Gomez up against Messi? Only see one winner there)

!@#$%! 05.01.2019 01:15 PM

oh shit when firmino is out the machine’s pistons don’t fire right

demonrail666 05.01.2019 02:16 PM

brilliant tackle from robertson on messi.

great game so far

demonrail666 05.01.2019 02:28 PM

haha, had to be suarez

!@#$%! 05.01.2019 02:32 PM

amazing goal and starting to feel sorry for liverpool. as much as barca’s defense is vulnerable their options (liverpool’s) keep narrowing

-

oh, mane!

demonrail666 05.01.2019 02:38 PM

Mane's miss will haunt him

Until the goal I made them equal and liverpool still 100% in this

!@#$%! 05.01.2019 02:55 PM

yeah they have not quit but keita’s forced exit will accrue as the game progresses

!@#$%! 05.01.2019 03:38 PM

sheeeeeeeeeetttttt.....

but i’m glad it was those 2 players!

demonrail666 05.01.2019 03:42 PM

Gotta say, 2 goals down but I'd say they were even in the 1st half and, until Messi's goal, Liverpool looked largely in control of the 2nd.

Mane's shot goes in, Milners goes anywhee but straight at the keeper and this could've been very different.

!@#$%! 05.01.2019 03:44 PM

HOLY FUCK

what a shot

each replay blows my mind all over again

demonrail666 05.01.2019 03:45 PM

ok, world class fee kick.

genius

!@#$%! 05.01.2019 03:46 PM

damn damn how liverpool missed that

!@#$%! 05.01.2019 03:46 PM

so, looking ahead (lol) didnt suarez get his european start at ajax?

demonrail666 05.01.2019 03:50 PM

Groningen, but he did play for Ajax

!@#$%! 05.01.2019 03:52 PM

gro... never heard of it lol

anyway there’s a narrative there somewhere

!@#$%! 05.01.2019 03:59 PM

mo and kloppo, or the myth of sisyphus

demonrail666 05.01.2019 04:06 PM

3-0 is what it is but no way is it a reflection of how competitive that was. Awesome game.

!@#$%! 05.01.2019 04:20 PM

it was a brilliant game but it made me a little sad

i felt liverpool's shot at winning slipping from the first half, and their second half comeback actually surprised me

but if you don't score you're toast

still, suárez and messi a joy to watch, they're something else

demonrail666 05.01.2019 05:02 PM

So massive team selection dilemma for Klopp now, ahead of the Newcastle game at the weekend.

he could end up sin soga ni cabra, haa haa haaa

damn...

see, if barcelona scores 1 goal away next week liverpool would have to score... 5. 4 goal difference.

on the other hand, the premier league win is man city's to lose, but there are 2 dates left?

man city up by 1 point plus 4 goals difference.

man city plays lezter and brighton.

liverpool plays newcastle and wolfitos

in a total of 4 games, more scenarios can come up.

lezter might wanna get into europa, which means they will fight hard for 7th place. brighton trying to stay out of relegation, but what chances they could win at all?

newcastle midtable not sure what they fight for. but wolves vs. brighton might be fighting for 7th place vicariously through these games.

but it all depends on man city fucking up vs. middling+bottom teams.

i guess lezter is the one candidate to give liverpool a chance.

poor klopp. he's fucked. no rope & no goat. how do you say that ha ha ha...

demonrail666 05.02.2019 02:27 PM

bookies make MC 3/13 for the Prem. Liverpool 7/2. Some are already paying out on Barcelona going through next week.

!@#$%! 05.02.2019 02:29 PM

how do those fractions work?

demonrail666 05.02.2019 02:51 PM

3/13 = bet £13 to win £3
7/2 = bet £2 to win £7

oooh!

lmao that first one is an absurd bet haaa haaa haaaa

demonrail666 05.02.2019 04:12 PM

so not tempted by the 1/33 I'm seeing for Barcelona reaching the final? Put up $100 and you're pretty much guaranteed a free Happy Meal come Tuesday night.

!@#$%! 05.02.2019 04:15 PM

lmao

so... what happens if they don’t? you get 33 pounds for each one you bet?

demonrail666 05.02.2019 04:36 PM

longest odds I've seen on Liverpool reaching the final is 10/1
