nice job arsenal

good to see auba score

h8kurdt 03.10.2019 04:13 PM

Didn't get to see a single game today. Sounds like a kissed a couple of great games. You here about a fan ran onto the during the Birmingham/Aston Villa game? Dickhead punched Grealish in the back of the head. Classy move.

Anyway, all back on for the champions League again.

!@#$%! 03.10.2019 04:24 PM

yeah, what a dickhead, news of the incident were all over the broadcast here, with plenty of discussion, and the best part was that the victim of the attack went on to stay in the game and score the winning goal haaaa haaaaa haaaaa. the best revenge is living well.

dont sweat not seeing the games, they were not “great” per se, they were eventful, but nothing to say “oooooh virtuosity” unless you count maybe the wind adding a little spin to xhaka’s shot? which you can catch on youtube.

h8kurdt 03.11.2019 01:20 PM

Zidane back as Real Madrid manager must be the most bonkers news of the season. Has there EVER been a manager who's gone back to a team he's previously managed and been as successful? He's got a job on his hands for sure

demonrail666 03.12.2019 05:22 AM

This puts pressure on other clubs to try and out-stupid them. Wouldn't be at all surprised if Chelsea have something ludicrous planned for the summer.

I couldn't stand him for a long time but I've slowly come around. I'll always be a Messi-man but in some ways I respect CR7 more.

!@#$%! 03.12.2019 05:32 PM

wow i just read the news. i’ve been caught up in brexit stuff all day.

i hate his guts but he’s a fucking phenomenon

can’t deny

I watched the first half of the Juventus game before a friend came round for the Man City game. That was a game where you watch it and think "a high scoring game doesn't mean a good game". Got a bit embarrassing for Schalke tbh. However, Sane was on fire.

h8kurdt 03.13.2019 03:42 PM

1-1 in the Bayern/Liverpool game. A howler by Neuer, and a howler of an own goal by Matip. Think Liverpool are gonna win this one.

Barcelona v Manchester United (semi-final two)

Liverpool v Porto (semi-final two)

Oof, that's gonna be a a test of OGS and Man Utd. Let's hope they can get their injured players back before then!

(using 'realistic' loosely lol)

!@#$%! 03.16.2019 12:03 PM

either way a win is a win so congrats

demonrail666 03.16.2019 12:10 PM

Fucking Preston in the league below are a point off the play-offs. As expected my PNE supporting friends are currently more insufferable than Liverpool fans right now.

The penalty was initially saved, but one player got the tap-in to make it 3-3.
Then VAR showed he'd been inside the box originally.
So the penalty was retaken in the 99th.
And saved.

God I love the A-League.

How big is football/soccer in Australia? I'm assuming it's behind rugby and cricket but is it bigger than Aussie rules?

Nah, Australian football is much more popular. They used to play the old National Soccer League in winter, until they realised that they weren't getting anywhere. So we've played in summer since the 80s.

For plenty of people, the only time that it gets noticed is during the World Cup. That said, a fair few kids my age keep up with the Champions League and similar.

Until the late 90s, when the national team (the Socceroos, because of course) started being 'good', the joke was that the only people who played it were shielas, wogs, and poofters. But now plenty of juniors play it (I think it's actually the most popular sport in Tasmania, based on players).

Thre was a time around the late 80s/early 90s when they started showing Aussie rules on British TV. I loved it! Never quite understood what was going on but still. I wish they still showed it here.

who is “west ham” in this case

pellegrini? the players?

looks like chícharo earned his pay at last

demonrail666 03.16.2019 04:29 PM

It's a mentality that's been at the club for years. Certainly longer than Pellegrini, or even this generation of players. They play above themselves against superior opponents but barely turn up against the weaker ones.

h8kurdt 03.16.2019 04:35 PM

Gotta hand it to Wolves in this game

Haha! Yeah, it looks like a weird hybrid of about five different sports. But I've grown up with it and I love it.

I'm actually wearing a hoodie for the Western Bulldogs (my team) right now.

The men's season starts this Thursday if you're interested. They post highlights on the official website, but I don't know if they work overseas. I'll happily decode anything if you want :)

fulham keeper looking real sorry at the end haha.
