Merson's the worst of the worst.

The best one at the moment is Jermaine Jenas.

I used to really rate Gary Neville but even he's got a bit too full of himself recently.

Agreed on both points there

!@#$%! 11.03.2018 01:16 PM

this game so far very entertaining

demonrail666 11.03.2018 01:18 PM

Yeah, really enjoying it. Mane looked a bit unlucky getting his goal disallowed but both teams have had chances.

!@#$%! 11.03.2018 04:09 PM

lamela + kane a holy terror

wolves thoroughly fucked

..

3-2

no way red sonja better than this

xx

wolvs wuz robbd

demonrail666 11.04.2018 02:51 AM

Looks like you're right. Red Sonja was pretty crap.

I flicked over at one point, saw Spurs were 2 up and thought I'd made the right decision, but Wolves were robbed you reckon. Wish I'd seen it now.

!@#$%! 11.04.2018 07:05 AM

well they had a goal disallowed for lack of var. it was onside but the lineman saw wrong.

the spurs goals were legit, because lamela + kane are so good. lamela i think in particular was incredible, so hard to stop.

but wolves were wolves and were relentless, just lacked the finish (frustrating...), but they tried so hard they scored their other 2 on pens, well shot ones too.

lots of ups and downs, pretty emotional for the fans i expect. that disallowed goal though... nuno had angry words with the 4th ref. bad bad call.

prem needs to catch up with the times

demonrail666 11.04.2018 08:10 AM

Lamela's a bit of a forgotten man and only really playing because of all the injuries at Spurs, but I agree, he's excellent.

Can't speak about last night but Kane's generally been quite poor so far this season. Playing too deep (as he did at the WC) and trying to do too much.

That isn't really his fault. Spurs didn't reinforce in the summer so he's having to help cover their injuries rather than focus on what he's best at.

!@#$%! 11.04.2018 08:14 AM

kane missed a few opportunities... well he shot on target, and dangerously, repeatedly but his shots were stopped.

his one goal was *great* though. watch the replay if you can.

lamela however was the one who created spaces upfront. he’s haRd to stop. his goal was a beauty. the other goals also his creation. [eta no, mouras header was from a trippier shot]

i wasnt planning to see this game but after it began i could not peel my eyes.

demonrail666 11.04.2018 10:19 AM

Even so, by his own standards, Kane's underperforming. To be fair, so are Spurs - due in part to key players being injured and the club not reinforcing in the summer. They finished no lower than 3rd in the last 3 seasons but I can see them struggling to qualify for the CL this year.

Meanwhile Man City 3-0 up against Southampton after just 18 minutes.

!@#$%! 11.04.2018 10:40 AM

oh lolol

i dont see southampton going to the superliga

Irrelevant to any previous discussion, but there was a fun game in the W-League (Australian women's comp) on the weekend.

82nd minute: Canberra United 4, Perth Glory 1 with a player red carded.
Full time: Canberra United 4, Perth Glory 4.

what da... how long was injury time?

demonrail666 11.05.2018 11:36 AM

Some Jan window transfer rumours:

Hazard to Real is the rumour that'll never die till he eventually goes
But also
Aaron Ramsey to Bayern? Also talk about them going after Greizmann
Wan-Bissaka to Everton (with Tosun thrown in as a make-weight?)
David Luiz to Barcelona (He's gonna play for every team out there at this rate). They're also apparently after Willian

h8kurdt 11.05.2018 01:25 PM

If Everton got Wan-Bissaka Id be impressed. Don't think they will, mind.

Also. this is mainly to Demo. Did you see Motd last night? Ruud Guillt was on and did an amazing defence on why Morata wasn't scoring. It actually changed my whole view on Morata. We always bang on about shit pundits *cough*paulmerson*cough* but credit where it's due. He did a great job last night.

EDIT:This is basically a transcript of what he said. Not as good without his Dutch accent.

He scorcssch goalssch

demonrail666 11.05.2018 03:20 PM

I missed it but the transcript makes a lot of sense. The problem is so few teams in the Prem play in a way that'd get the best out of him. Maybe Liverpool when Milner's on but even that means he'd only ever be a plan B option. Even West Ham, who I know he's been linked with, are trying to play out from the back now.

He's obviously not a bad player, I just don't know how he fits in with the way most teams in the Prem are trying to play right now.

Don't know, but they'd gotten to 4-4 by 90 - even if there'd been none, it wouldn't have mattered for the final result

_tunic_ 11.06.2018 06:00 AM

did you guys see the new statue already for Mo Salah?

!@#$%! 11.06.2018 03:47 PM

atlético been mincing dortmundks defense but only winning 1-0 so far.

atlético hungry for murder though. this could end 5-0 eventually

!@#$%! 11.06.2018 05:01 PM

feel like im talking to myself now lol

madrid dominated dortmund front to back. poor borussia could not get a single shoot on target, and could never shut down madrid’s threat.

griezmann’s goal was a beauty

guerreiro for pulisic did nothing

gotze in did nothing

2-0 final

oh yeah borussia “won” at possession lolololololololol

h8kurdt 11.07.2018 02:49 AM

Haha! nah not married just me and mah woman taking it easy. Although the Mrs is my new band name. Ignoring that i'm not in a band.

So champions league part 2! So what's everyone watching tonight. For the most part there's no real tasty games except for Juve/Man Utd so I'll be going for that one.
