Worst of all, America is deeply divided, and Trump does everything he can to keep it that way. He is not the leader of America. He is the leader of His Base, which, unfortunately, seems to be well over 40% of voters. That's mind-boggling.

I used to think that Bush Sr was a meh POTUS. Now he seems positively fucking monumental. His political opponents have many genuinely good things to say about his decency and kindness. Bush Sr was able to organize a vast coalition against Saddam. Other countries were very willing to support.
