Unknown Mortal Orchestra self titled |
Three minutes after the end of the last bonus track on the 1997 reissue, there's a hilarious row between Roger McGuinn and Michael Clarke. "Fuck you, motherfucker!" The album is pretty good too. :D |

Held out on this for too long. Gonna listen to it now before the new year rolls over. |
Suuns 12" single of Bambi & Red Song. Bought it many years ago from their merch desk because I really liked the sleeve. Now played for the very first time. One of the songs is very cool. 50% chance to guess which is it. And finally: |

“Two Americans, an Italian and an Irishman walk into a dirty basement in the former Jewish ghetto of Krakow, Poland, and renounce all their previous musical preconceptions. Then they hit the record button. You're cordially invited over for a listen”

which is great, btw, because people like me need accountants. don’t get me wrong, i have a decent math brain, it’s the drudgery that kills me. — anyway came here to post this yes, it’s got more fela, and of course it has some great songs (houses in motion is fucking great) but it also has some so-so ones with a heavy feeling (“the overload”) that almost reminds me of the doors and i don’t know. as a whole, i prefer the less sophisticated but more consistent 77. |
