i didnt really like either blur or oasis to be honest. not because i want to be uber cool and was listening to something else i just really never bothered with them. if i had to choose then blur are better. i liked beatlebum.

Thurston Moore should leave Sonic Youth for a while, just like Ringo Starr threatened to do with The Beatles (and did for a brief period,i think). The only difference is that he should stay away for longer because he's become a bit of an annoying Sonic Youth member.

He also seems to write the same song over and over again. I listened to one of his new ones on that video that someone posted on that thread about his solo performance, and i could almost hear where the song was going next without even knowing it. He should have a go at retirement for a while.

It really is beyond terrible.

But I can't really say that I'm a huge fan of Sonic Youth lyrics either. A lot of their songs would be so much better if they were kept as instrumentals.
