![]() i had missed this when it came out and then time flew by. i like it okay. it’s not as good as milk-eyed mender or the glorious lunacy that was Ys, but it’s nice and listenable. the one i can’t stand is have one on me— this album is tons better than that, but not her best. |

![]() DAMN can O'Rourke make great ambiance (don't want to restrict it by saying "ambient") sounds. In other hands this would be another folktronicrap botched patchwork; in Jim's, it's a whole — the acoustic guitar, the noises, the Gabriel-ish vocals. Brilliant. |
