Awesome album! And yes Murray Street is majestic. I mean who doesn't love Karen Revisited? Brilliant track, and that's to say nothing of Rain On Tin, The Empty Page, and Disconnection Notice. OK, so Radical Adults and Plastic Sun are disposable. Sympathy For the Strawberry is also a good tune. |

Sympathy for the Strawberry is one of the best things ever. |

My Dead Girlfriend/Shojo Skip - Sweet Days & Her Last Kiss (split) |
Revisiting a classic. Think it's been like four years since I last listened to it.

Wow. Three killers in a row.
Sorry Iron Maiden. (Tho I can see how fans of the genre might like it, so maybe it is killer but I just can't hear it.) Quote:
Amazon has mp3s of My Dead Girlfriend tracks only. ? I can't seem to find any physical copies. Not even a blog with an unexpired link. Youtube is only way to listen. I'm not saying you should violate international copyright laws, but if you were to hook the world up with a download, I wouldn't rat on you. |

Thinking I'll follow up with Songs From Northern Britain |
I don't give a fuck what y'all say, 25 years old today and I'm going to celebrate. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhFbYYLL0EQ It seems most Orlando folks move away before starting their best band. A frustrating fact that remains true with this Austin group made up of Orlando transplants. From slightly broken dreamy pop songs to rambunctious post punky numbers they turn in a great debut front to back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! - Florida's Dying Records |

Yeah, they're on Youtube. Also: http://www.slsknet.org Soulseek is god-tier. |

I really need to just start listening to exactly what you other guys around here listen to. I have no clue what the majority of this stuff even is. I have so much to learn

Late night listening whilst trying to make sense of that word file in front of me.

Manson's 'white trash' era was so amusing. Also the riffs on this album fuckin slap. What the hell kinda pedals are used on this thing? Trent Reznor's production with all the hellish screams in the background are also another favorite on display here. Maybe the band's best, although I'm partial to Holy Wood. Currently: Maladroit > Green Album > Pinkerton (everything else Weezer made kinda blows) |
