Second, is called Just Jason. It is my acoustic/ambient music I make late at night.

I play and record everything myself. Let me know what you think.

Thunderbolt Pagoda LP gets a nice review on Roadburn.com; hopefully they'll be changing the cover image to the actual album cover soon, or I'm gonna get sued by Ira Cohen.

Mats Gustafsson wrote a very nice review of our CD in his blog...

Quote:

Lead Sister II Interplanetary Craft (Ikuisuus)

The mysterious Lead Sister II sounds like a bunch of Tower Recordings intros that never switch direction in the middle of a song like those New Yorkers often used to do. That doesn’t mean that this isn’t entrancing. On the contrary we get a bunch of weird percussive elements glued together to a whole that’s repeated over and over again and has an incredibly calming, even healing effect on the mind. The outcome could from afar be considered a pretty fucked up racket with its eclectic instrumentation (including but not limited to the electric mailbox, weed eater violin, bicycle horn reed powered trumpet, bed springs, bobby pins and hacksaw blades) and unorthodox whims if it weren’t for the aura of beauty and far-reaching meditative ambitions that comes with every hypnotically repetitious note.

For whatever reason Interplanetary Craft is detached from reality in a way that it perfectly illustrates some twisted dream full of abstraction, improvisation and moonlight trance. It’s a kaleidoscopic pattern of aural illusions and stumbling drum circle folk that plots a quite remarkable track through the outer regions of damaged folkscapes, ghost symphonies and forested drones. Whoever Lead Sister II are they have found their own enigmatic niche of stoner folk, somewhere on the trajectory line between The Tower Recordings and Kemialliset Ystävät.

Hey, I just read that the other day!
I didn't know that was your band.
Congrats; Mats is the best!

TheMadcap 02.25.2008 03:39 PM

I have 2 projects I work on.

The first of the two recordings I do is called Nameless. I would call it noise/grunge. This is probably what most Sonic Youths would like.

The second project is Just Jason. It is acoustic/ambient. Fun stuff.

I play and record everything myself.

You're in all those bands? Wow! How do you find the time to post?

Savage Clone 02.25.2008 03:56 PM

Say Hi to Ann Magnuson for me.

sonicl 02.25.2008 03:58 PM

Woah! An album, at last! When's it out, Mr C?

Savage Clone 02.25.2008 03:59 PM

The records are here; we're just working on completing the (rather elaborate) packaging right now. Should be a month or so.

And Roadburn changed the cover art to the actual cover art, thankfully.

sonicl 02.25.2008 04:00 PM

You will post ordering details on here, won't you?

Nice artwork, by the way, even if it does look like a ripoff of a Skye Klad cover.

Savage Clone 02.25.2008 04:02 PM

I'm allowed to rip off Skye Klad.
Plus, Skye Klad never released any vinyl, and this one is gonna be vinyl-only in a box with lot of other art prints and such.

sonicl 02.25.2008 04:04 PM

Really? Shit, that's gonna cost a lot in postage. It better be worth it :)

Savage Clone 02.25.2008 04:05 PM

It's a ripoff.

Edit:
The dollar is in the toilet anyway, so you should be thanking me for my magnificent timing.
