America is Dead
(this is a five year old song, so basically these Belgians are not only great musicians, they are also prophets! Without rage) Please listen to the entire session! |

Ooh, yay! Thank you for sharing! |
since i picked up chatter (lol) in another thread, i'm listening to pharmakon's CONTACT right now.
it's not cutting it for me on the emotional level but technically it's interesting i suppose in a post-noise-era sort of way. i should play it side by side with throbbing gristle and see who wins. |

Oh dude, Throbbing Gristle wins. You kidding? Pharmakon's cool if you're into that kind of thing. I used to be way more into that kind of thing than I am now, but it's still worth listening to. The new album hasn't done a whole lot for me either, but I'd still see her again if she came to town. But Throbbing Gristle FTW. |

gonna look for those concertos torn curtain mentioned |
An old(ish) favorite:
Atlas Sound featuring Laetitia Sadier - "Quick Canal" This song makes for happy even when sad. :( :) |
last night I was watching an old Parks & Rec and Jeffy Tweedy had a cameo and I was like "OMG I want to listen to Wilco now! Lots of Wilco!"
So that's where I'm at now. ![]() |
Milk Music - Mystic 100's ... New album that kicks some fantastic ass, and restores a bit of my faith in indie rock.
![]() @ noisereductions -- I think you'd dig these guys. They're from Olympia, WA, and pull from Meat Puppets, Violent Femmes, Dinosaur Jr., etc. Listen to "Twists & Turns & Headtrips" and I think you'll be hooked pretty fucking quickly. They first came on my radar in 2010, but I didn't really pay attention until 2013's Cruise Your Illusion, which was one of my top 10 albums of that year. |
never heard of them. I'll look into it.
