Pusha T is nice. I have a hard time choosing between the ROIR tape and Rock for Light. Rock for Light is well executed but the ROIR tape has "Don't Need It" which, defines everything. both most be played LOUD!!!!! very LOUD!!!! I play it loud because im a dork.

Funny. Last night I pulled out Tim. I always "liked" it but it finally dawned on me that it's one of the greatest rock albums ever. Like, as good as anything the Stones ever made. But yeah, Hootenanny is a lot of fun.

Back in the AMR days (that's the alt.music.replacements Usenet group, you damn "social media" kids), there was a recurring discussion: take "Dose Of Thunder" and "Lay It Down Clown" out, add "Can't Hardly Wait" and "Nowhere Is My Home" instead, and you got THE GREATEST ALBUM IN THE HISTORY OF EVERYTHING. But then again, sheer perfection wasn't exactly the Mats' way, was it?

so I imagine this album gets the overrated treatment today. don't see how, just calling it. you know how critics are these days but, this album is hella dazzling. still fine. like gold crept up the spine. perfect for the holidays while high, plus I bought the vinyl a year ago at the fucking mall. laidback and warm but always whiplash "what da fuck".

Madvillainy is excellent. There are other Doom albums I prefer. But it is still great.
