wow the fantasy website is so broken
spent 1/2 hour changing my formation to a 442 and doing substitutions and they don’t confirm and now my team appears empty (!) also the SYG league does not appear WAT — never mind, everything has magically recomposed now |

You can sub Neymar out completely before tomorrow, for the next round. There's a barbers near me that has a big picture of Neymar on its wall, so kids can choose him as a style option and ask for 'a Neymar'. I don't remember them ever putting up a picture of Pirlo, which probably helps explain why the country's in such a state. |

Ha! So predictions for this evening's/morning's game for England? Suspect it'll end up being a scrappy 2-1 win for England. I hope a win at least |
Anything but a win would be a disaster. I'll go 2-1.
So any teams stood out for you so far? Iceland were a big surprise. Not expecting them to go especially far but the bollocking Hodgson got for drawing with them now looks a bit ott. (Sticking Kane on corners was still a sackable offence, though.) None of the big teams have really impressed so far. Spain have been the best but only in spurts. Germany surely have to improve. |
Did think that about Iceland. There was still hubris on all the players, and especially Hodgson going into that game. But that's old news now. I've really liked how Southgate has gone about the whole hoo-haa being England manager*
Honestly, I'd just be glad if they go out and actually play like we know they can. They do it at their respective teams so let's hope they have the confidence to do that. As long as Sterling doesn't get shit the first time he fucks up then we'll be ok. Imagine if we going into this with Allardyce as manager. *did you watch that thing on BBC about the history of England managers? |
Oh fuck it. I forgot to switch my captain over lastnight. Bollocks. Almost want Lukaku to blank now. Will feel the same watching him today that Symbols probably did watching Timo yesterday.

belgica not fucking around... they wanna score early —- ps- some panamanian trying to make love to lukaku. might hamper him enough that goal comes from elsewhere |
Get someone half decent to man-mark Lukaku and he's fucked.
|
o man. sorry dude. i know the feeling of wasted opportunities.
— again. ouch! fuck... |
My only saving grace is I don't think anyone else had Lukaku ... but it still hurts!
|
I've De Bruyne so at least I got an assist there.
You what this game highlights? How fucking shit USA must have been to not qualify for the world cup. |
Quote:
yes. klinsmann was right — and what’s up with this ref? read about him earlier with a reputation for leniency but he’s dished out more yellow cards than you can shake a stick at |
This'll jump Demo to the top of the table now, right?
|
even without captain it’s great loot
— captain courtois saved my ass today i think im off the bottom finally. not sure what points are computed besides clean sheets. he had a couple of saves there not sure at what point they add anything. |
Fuckin HYPED!!
|
predicting the score:

Haha I actually said that to a friend. Well, midges but same difference. It's gonna be a shit 1-1 isnt it? |
Quote:
but come on. sure you can beat the carthaginians? |
Quote:
I doubt it. But it could've been worse. More importantly, COME ON EN-GER-LAND! |
Oh fuck yes! Harry Edward Kane!!!!
|
man was that a goal? my fox stream seems delayed as fuck
switching back to telemundo that’s in better sync oh yeah ha ha ha congrats — ETA: GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!! xD |
Why in the name of fuck wasn't that Pen looked at with VAR?
|
Quote:
oh you mean on kane?? |
No Tunisia's. If that was looked at on VAR then I dunno. That was never a pen no matter how many times you look at it.
|
Take off Alii.
|
Quote:
really? walkers hand didn’t need to fly there at all. the pull on kane went totally unregistered though— was shown on camera before the free kick anyway i hope between h8kurdt and me (voicing my wishes for england’s clean sheets) we didn’t jinx the proceedings, lol gotta say though tunisia did start to take control of the game some 10 minutes before their goal. your guys have missed so many chances it’s nuts. |
fuck, stones getting punched in the head
maybe the keeper broke his knuckles |
Quote:
dude! break the curse already! only a few minutes left. come on! |
Job done, I suppose, but that was REALLY uncomfortable watching.

God the stress watching England!
|
i wake up late to catch colombia losing by a goal and playing with 10 men
james out injured now pekerman takes out cuadrado who was doing well and was my last hope my fantasy team riding straight to hell haaa haaa haaa |
oh here comes james sonsobitchhes
where is keisuke honda |
How is it that the standard of reffereing has been so high in this world cup, except for the one moron who did the England game last night?
|
This championship is a nightmare when it comes to betting.
I think I will lose again (I have placed a bet on the Colombians to win) |
So, I thought, what harm can come from captaining Carlos Sanchez? A penalty conceded and a red card later, that's ... -6 points. Fuck my life!

james gave me a grand total of 0: less than 60 minutes played + yellow card cancel each other out tragic. - oh, honda scored me an assist - btw less than 4 h i think to transfer players for round 2 gonna get rid of flores i think. of course this wil guarantee that peru wins with 5 goals from flores, but i gotta go with the reasonable choice ha haa ha |

7 EUR, no big deal :) |

it seems that I'm leading the league currently, which is a LOL, as I usually suck at predicting :). I guess Griezmann, Eriksen and Godin were good investments though. which one are you? Globalists FC? Quote:
good call. I shuffled my team around, used the wildcard and now it looks like this: GK: Ochoa (MX) Defence: Godin (URU), Varela (URU), Kimmich (GER) Midfield: Golovin (RUS), Eriksen (DEN), Cheryshev (RUS), Coutinho (BRA) Attack: Griezmann (FRA), Costa (ESP), Mertens (BEL) Bench: Ospina (COL), Joohoo (KOR), Ebuehi (NIG), Xhaka (SUI) |
