Tuesday, March 4, 2008 Electric Wizard @ BBC Studios (updated) This is a repost of Electric Wizard at BBC studios in 2005. My original posting contained two songs, "We Live" and "Dopethrone," and included deejay dialog between the two tracks. This version is uninterrupted and includes the addition of "Another Perfect Day" as a third track. Download this and delete the others if you already have them. This is much better. This is best played late at night at high volume when your bean bag juggling, hoop rolling, magic stick tossing, Tibetan flag displaying neighbors are trying to sleep. Trust me. I've still got my fingers crossed in hopes of a return of Electric Wizard to the US. Witchcult Today gets better with every listen, and I'm ready to see those songs live. Keep your eyes open on this blog; I've got some live material that will post within the next couple of weeks. Click here! |

ELECTRIC WIZARD - LIVE AT ROADBURN (2005) ***RE-UP*** Here's another ELECTRIC WIZARD set, this time from Holland's 2005 Roadburn Festival. It's a hell of a performance, and the sound quality is tops. G.O.M.E. visitors that dig WIZARD's earlier work will be delighted by the two-guitar version of "Return Trip". They jam it out for all ten brutal minutes before doubling that on the closer, "Supercoven". Crushing. 1. Eko Eko Azarak 2. We Live 3. Dopethrone 4. Return Trip 5. Supercoven http://massmirror.com/f650c182e1f12727a145f3d2a02b0ba0.html |

Arthur Doyle with Mizutani & Sabu tour in Japan was captured on a great QBICO album. a couple of live tapes are also in a somewhat limited circulation. here's one of them... heavy stuff as you can imagine. the best arthur doyle project with an electric guitar has to be blue humans 1980, NYC album. this set is leaning more towards psychedelia.

Hush Arbors (1-5) Phil Minton (6) Tight Meat Duo (7-13) The later two acts play improvised pieces, though track 5 of the Tight Meat Duo set is given the title ''The Little Girl In The Front Row''. Tracks 2,4 and 6 of the same set are not music, but between-song pauses and chat.
