Well, I don´t put Hendrix earlier cause I thought it was a kind of self-evident fact. Those four albums are the only ones released in his lifetime. Anyway all four are just dynamite!

I searched for the image on Google, then for the title on Discogs, and then on a Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds bootlegs-focused site. And I found zilch. And you know what? I loved it. First time in a while that I come across something the interwebs can't answer. Let the mystery be. :) |
I don't disagree, Road To Ruin isn't flawless as those first three albums but with really the exception of one song its still a great enough album that to not count it seems petty. For I Wanna Be Sedated alone the album is a worthy listen.

Predictably, this game has degenerated a bit, with some of y'alls posting crap by ENEMIES of ROCK & ROLL. But that's OK, as I still have awesome shit to mention.
Fairport Convention What We Did On Our Holidays Unhalfbricking Liege And Lief Full House The four of them released within a year and a half, by the way. Unhalfbelievable. Big Star #1 Record Radio City Third/Sister Lovers Cluster Cluster [Cluster '71] Cluster II Zuckerzeit Sowiesoso Prince Dirty Mind Controversy 1999 Purple Rain Another "slide the window if you want" case — all the way to Sign "☮" The Times, although as a whole Around The World In A Day is not as strong as the rest... Gotta give it another spin. Sam Phillips Fan Dance A Boot And A Shoe Don't Do Anything Push Any Button Technically, Cameras In The Sky goes between the last two (not to mention five EPs!), but what the hell, all sheer perfection. Matthew Sweet Girlfriend Altered Beast 100% Fun M. Ward End Of Amnesia Transfiguration Of Vincent Transistor Radio Judee Sill Judee Sill Heart Food Dreams Come True (It has to count, no? Damn right it has to.) St. Vincent Marry Me Actor Strange Mercy St. Vincent |

Björk:
Post Homogenic Vespertine Medulla Have to add these, because I think all those are at least decent albums. Vespertine & Medulla are only true great Björk albums. |

This album never stops sounding amazing. Almost 5 years later, it still gives me chills from start to finish. |
Still with the album listing?

These are must:
the Band: Music From Big Pink the Band Stage Fright Cahoots I have sometimes wondered am I the only Band-fan here? Because I think I am the only one who ever do mentions about them. Dylan is a hero to so many here, to me Band has always been much more important. Their second album is in the top20 of my alltime albums! |

First of all, I'm not a dedicated fan of Steely Dan; I just think Pretzel Logic is excellent. Second, with the possible exceptions of Janis Ian and ZZ Top, these selections are dismal. Quote:
