SuchFriendsAreDangerous 05.24.2016 05:31 PM

I didn't mean to imply Steven Adams was a tough guy so much as draymond carries himself loke a straight up bitch.

Warriors got exposed. Ha! Fuck them playoffs aren't the weak ass Pacific Division

Bytor Peltor 05.25.2016 12:08 PM

OKC have outscored the Warriors 91-35 with their small lineup on the court over the last two games.

Warriors have been outscored by 73 points with Draymond Green on the floor in last two games......he is 2-16 from the floor with twice as many turnovers as assists.

Russell Westbrook is the first with a 30-point triple-double in playoffs vs the defending champ since Charles Barkley in 1993. ONLY MJ and Oscar Robinson have more 30-point+ post season triple doubles:

For the first time this season, Golden State not the fave to win NBA title:
Cleveland 7/5
OKC, 8/5
Golden State 3/1
Toronto 25/1.....current odds posted at Bovada.

SuchFriendsAreDangerous 05.25.2016 01:18 PM

Not favored to win Title? Pure hubris. Dubs aren't winning the Series and frankly the look in their eyes last night tells me they will be lucky to win another game.

HA!

Sooooooooo glad these cocky fucks got what was coming to them. We all knew they got lucky last year. No more bicep kissing and salsa dancing

Cavs fans sick.

OKC fans sick.

Rockets fans sick.

16-4 Warriors finish.

Klay made more threes than Durant OR Westbrook made field goals!

Side note: came to the lake Thursday to start a long holiday weekend. Thursday afternoon, we got pounded by bad weather losing power. Left Friday morning for Abilenne to attend a family members graduation. Returned to lake this evening and we have power & cable, but no wifi......looking forward to Game 7 on Monday!

SuchFriendsAreDangerous 05.29.2016 12:04 AM

Respect to warriors. If they become tenth team to come back 3-1 i will tip my cap. OKC has had a lead in 4th quarter of every game so game seven is at least a coin flip.

Bytor Peltor 05.30.2016 09:19 AM

Choke Job vs. Being Outplayed?

KD's air ball which led to Roberson's putback gave OKC 101 points, for the final two minutes of the game, OKC had four turnovers and ZERO shot attempts.

Just as OKC hung around and stole Game 1 in Oakland, this is exactly what GSW did in Game 6......OKC simply couldn't put them away. For those like SuchFriends who say 73 wins doesn't mean anything, it was easy to see it meant something Saturday night!

The Golden State Warriors are 95-7 at home in the Steve Kerr era and haven't lost to the same team twice (SAS,CHI,MEM,CLE,BOS,MIN,OKC)

Also, the Warriors are 14-2 from Game 4 and beyond in a series in the Kerr era. (Losses: G4 at Houston last year and G4 at OKC in this series.)

Iguodala with a defensive 4th quarter for the ages!

Klay Thompson's 41 points are the most scored by a Warrior this postseason......and set the NBA postseason record with 11 3-pointers:

Thompson and Curry combined for 17 3-pointers to set NBA playoff record

Golden State made 21 3-pointers while OKC one made 3......which is the largest difference in made 3-pointers in a playoff game in NBA history!

Russell Westbrook has now shot below 46% in 8 of last 10 games vs. GSW

Most turnovers this series:
Westbrook 28
Curry 25
Durant 23
Draymond 18
Klay 12

Most blocks this series:
Durant 11
Draymond 10
Ibaka 8
Roberson and Bogut 7
Adams 5

Most assists this series:
Westbrook 66
Curry 33
Draymond 26
Iguodala 20
Waiters 18
Durant 17
Bogut and Livingston 13

Most made 3-pointers this series:
Curry 25
Klay 24
Westbrook 11
Durant, Ibaka and Barnes 9
Roberson 8

Most rebounds this series:
Draymond and Steven Adams 53
Ibaka 51
Durant 49
Westbrook 42
Roberson 40
Curry 39

Most minutes in this series:
Kevin Durant 243
Russell Westbrook 229
Draymond Green 224
Stephen Curry 217
Serge Ibaka 207
Klay T 199

TNT’s Warriors/Thunder Western Confrence Game 6 averaged a 7.9 rating, the highest rated NBA game of the season across all TV based on overnights.

The Warriors are -7 point favorites TONIGHT in Game 7

SuchFriendsAreDangerous 05.30.2016 12:55 PM

OKC IS SO GOOD......they just went 7-6 against teams (SA/GSW) that went a combined 152-26 during the regular season.

OKC won six of the eight quarters in Games 6 and 7 against GSW.

OKC was playing in Terminator-Mode......NEVER stopped coming at GSW!

OKC was sooo good for seven games against a 73-win team......just not quite good enough!!!!!!!

Durant: "They beat us from the 3-point line the last two games. We beat them from everywhere else ... that was the series."

Kerr: "Phenomenal basketball team that we just played, and we survived by the skin of our teeth."

Warriors: 2nd straight series they won despite spending more minutes behind than ahead.

Game 7's are for closers and Steph Curry knows how to close = the UNANIMOUS MVP is going to MVP!

Was the MVP trolling by rocking a jacket Russ would have wore if OKC had won?

Westbrook shot 39.5% for the series, 36.8% over the last three games...

Westbrook's 31 turnovers is the most in the Western Conference is the last 30 years.

Last two Games from 3-point range:
Steph/Klay 30-of-55 (55 percent)
Thunder 10-of-50 (20 percent)

Most 3 pointers in a single ploff seriesay:
1. Klay, 34, 2016
2. Steph 31, 2016
3. Ray Allen, 28, 2001
4. Dennis Scott, 28, 1995

One assist on three made baskets in the final six minutes for the Thunder.

ZERO shots in final two minutes of Game 6 and three made baskets in final six minutes of Game 7 = Choke Job!

Steven Adams and Draymond Green hug it out at the end of an epic series. Kevin Durant embraced several Warriors......Russell Westbrook did not!

OKC is a better team than Cleveland and a tougher match-up for the Warriors.

The Western Conference Finals were the NBA Finals......Cavs are just playing for 3rd place!

SuchFriendsAreDangerous 05.31.2016 10:12 AM

All this gloating you woulda thought Rockets were in the Finals. Last time i checked this was the Western Conference Finals not the NBA Finals, still more games to play

SuchFriendsAreDangerous 05.31.2016 10:17 AM

Haha bytor where the fuck were you two years ago when i was rooting for GS to beat Spurs in the Semis? Right you were probably gloating for the Spurs then ;)

Bytor Peltor 05.31.2016 10:29 AM

The UNANIMOUS MVP has the most points by any player coming back from down 3-1 in Games 5, 6 & 7 = 98 points!

The UNANIMOUS MVP's SEVEN 3-pointers is the most for any Game 7 in NBA History!

The UNANIMOUS MVP was +18......nobody else in the game was in double-digits......expect Westbrook who was -14.

KD & Russ had their chance:

Would've Could've Should've = DIDN'T!!!!!!!

The way I see it, you are the one doing all the trash talking......it's always been you! All I did last year and again this year was have a little fun with it because you make it so easy.

I try and stick to the facts. As usual, you go and jump to conclusions......

How about you just own up to your trashtalk, i always own up to mine. I don't know if you honestly don't even realize it or just trolling me but you trash talk it up here.

Difference is i only trash talk teams, you always like to make it some personal shit. Its all goos bro i just wish you'd actually for once own up to your passive aggressive dickhead bullshit just once.

I ain't never shy to eat my crow meanwhile you be shit talking every year where the fuck is your team at?

Bytor Peltor 06.02.2016 05:18 PM

Acording to the boys in Vegas, the Cleveland Cavilers are +190 to win the NBA Finals and +215 to win Game One.

Steph Curry / GSW faced a much better defense against OKC. For as talented as Kyrie Irving is with the ball, he is sooo James Harden LAZY on the defensive side. LeBron simply can't keep up with Steph throughout the entirety of the game......however, if it's tied or very close during the final two minutes of any game, look for LeBron to be in full shutdown mode!

King James Post-Season Legacy

Win or lose, the book on LeBron's post-season carrier is starting to close. Back-2-back NBA Championship losses at the hands of Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors would make LeBron 2-5 in Championship series.

LeBron turns 32 next season......by caparison, Michael Jordan & Tim Duncan won won NBA Championships after turning 32, Kobe Bryant did not!

Speaking of the Lakers, this series sort of reminds me of the 2004 NBA Finals. All the Vegas Sharps & Squares were on the Lakers and the Detroit Pistons beat LA down in Five.

Remembering that, I still believe the Cavs are playing for 3rd place!

NOTE: there is some sort of "legacy" with a single player making six straight Finals appearances. I felt the same way about the Buffalo Bills making three straight Super Bowl appearances.

John Legend rehearsing the National Anthem

SuchFriendsAreDangerous 06.02.2016 10:21 PM

Difference between Bills and Lebron is Lebron WON his championships. Stop hating. Rockets ain't winning shit. So whateverz yo..

Oh yeah, before you starting passive aggressive running your fucking mouth again here let me help you out.

Rob Instigator 06.03.2016 08:41 AM

so glad to see the Cavs lose.

LeBron is the Payton Manning of BBall. great player, loses when it truly counts.

Bytor Peltor 06.03.2016 09:14 AM

REALITY CHECK

All Cleveland has to do now is win 4 of the next 5 against a team that's 86-15. There is one other option......win Game 7 in Oakland.

Teams that won Game 1 by 15 or more Points in NBA Finals History:
Won Series 11
Lost Series 2

LeBron James is now 1-6 in Game One of the NBA Finals and 0-5 on the road. However, James is 4-2 in NBA Finals Game 2's.

NBA Finals Mantra = it’s not a Series until you win a game on the opponent’s floor!

Rested, healthy and ready were the words being used to describe Cleveland before Game One.

The Cavs have now lost FOUR NBA Finals Games In A Row!!!!

First Half

LeBron James was 0-4 in the 2nd quarter, didn't take a shot the last 9 minutes while playing the entire quarter.

LeBron's average shot distance in the 1st quarter was 1.8 feet......rest of the Cavaliers averaged 13 feet.

LeBron was just one assists shy of a triple double.

Cavs dominated the First Half rebounding 26-13 and were 9-11 from the FreeThrow line.

Draymond +14
Klay +12
Iguodala +9

LeBron -13
Love -12

13 of the Warriors' first 16 points were scored by Andrew Bogut or Harrison Barnes.

Warriors scoring at the rim was so much easier than any game of the OKC series.

Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry combined for 10 points, their fewest in a 1st half this season (in games which both played)......and GSW were up 9

________________

Cavaliers outscored by six at the 3-point line, and 12 in the paint.

Warriors shot 55% on contested shots, 42% on uncontested shots.

Per EliasSports, Shaun Livingston's 20 points are the most by a GSW reserve in the Finals since Phil Smith's 20 on 5/18/75 (Game 1 vs. WAS)......it was just the 11th time in his NBA career that Shaun Livingston reached the 20-point mark.

Kerr on Andre Iguodala: "He’s a brilliant basketball player. He doesnt get enough credit…he always settles us down & knows exactly what’s happening"

Ervin Magic Johnson: "Cleveland's easy series against Detroit, Atlanta and Toronto did not prepare them to play Golden State." (don't you just love how Magic be trolling the East)

Ervin Magic Johnson: The NBA MVP Steph Curry scored 11pts and Klay Thompson only scored 9pts and the Warriors still won. (and you thought I was kidding about Magic trolling the East)

Never mind the Death Squad, Game One was about the 'Big Bench'

Last night, LeBron James passed Robert Horry for most career NBA Finals 3's in NBA history......it took LeBron 34 games to make 57 3's.

By comparison, the Unanimous MVP now has 28 3's in just SEVEN GAMES!!!!!!

Vegas Prop Bets for Game Two

Steph points over/under is 29 tonight......for LeBron it’s 26.
LeBron rebounds and assists is 17.5

Cleveland is +205 or +6 for tonight......Cav's +850 to win the series.

Total made free throws over/under for both Steph and LeBron is five.

Carlos Santana & Cindy Blackman Santana will be performing the Game 2 National Anthem.

SuchFriendsAreDangerous 06.05.2016 10:04 PM

I failed to check the Vegas SWEPT prices before the series started because who would have thought, but I did check after Game 1 and GSW were +2000 to sweep meaning they only need to win three straight games. I'm guessing the before the series started GSW were +5000.

WOW - I just checked, GSW is now just +250 (massive price drop) to sweep the next two games......Vegas ZERO confidence in Cavs.

Golden State won its 87th game of the season (73 regular season; 14 postseason), matching the NBA record for combined wins (1995-96 Bulls)

Steve Kerr and Phil Jackson are the only coaches in NBA history to win 30 of their first 40 postseason games......the 48 points GSW won by in Games 1 & 2 are the biggest two game margin of victory in NBA Finals History:

Coach Kerr: "We did our job. We won our 2 home games. There’s obviously a long way to go. We’re not celebrating." "Our defense was the key to everything tonight."

Ervin Magic Johnson: The Cavs dared Draymond Green to beat them from the 3pt line and that's what he did shooting 5-8 from behind the line and scoring 28pts.

Cleveland shot 14 more free throws and GSW committed turnovers (20), and Cavs still lost by 30

Tyronn Lue went with the ‘what’s the worst that can happen’ lineup and ran it for 9 full minutes.

Draymond scored a game-high 28 points, the most he's ever scored in a Finals game.

LeBron had 14 of the Cavs 23 2nd Quarter points.

Last team to come back down 0-2 in the Finals = 2006 Miami Heat......teams leading 2-0 are 28-3 in Finals!

LeBron has now lost 7 straight vs. the Warriors, the longest losing streak against any team in his career.

It’s June 5th in the NBA Finals and LeBron’s STILL having to talk about the mental stuff with this team.

Three years ago, what odds could you have gotten that Steph Curry wins more NBA titles than LeBron James?

We all need to take a moment to credit Portland and the OKC Thunder for how well they played against the Death Squad Monster.

The Death Squad Monster that GSW has built are entering an unprecedented 2-year period where the cap will rise 70%.

This series is gonna make for an even more interesting offseason. No way the Cavs come back with this same big 3......will LeBron want another Coach?

Bytor Peltor 06.06.2016 11:00 AM

Word is KD and JH have been spending lots of time together.

(just for fun)

I highly doubt this happens, but if it does......ESPN will be the last to admit / report it!

SuchFriendsAreDangerous 06.06.2016 11:47 AM

Oh good bytor is posting about rockets again. I was wondering who he will bandwagon next season

Bytor Peltor 06.08.2016 09:34 PM

Halftime of Game 3

At the half, Cleveland's 21 points off 10 Golden State turnovers are the most scored by a Warriors opponent in a game this postseason.

LeBron has 11 points on 14 shots in a game they led by 20 at one point is a plus-2......this is bad!

Is Lebron going to be this bad for another half......he isn't finishing at the rim, Draymond is killing him.

2nd Half is starting and I'll soon be leaving for work, but Ill be listening via NBA Radio.

Bytor Peltor 06.09.2016 03:47 PM

Most Games Decided by 25 Points - Single Postseason in NBA History
2015-16 20
2008-09 11

Cavaliers outscored the Warriors 54-32 (+22) in the paint in Game 3.
Cavaliers were outscored by 22 in the paint in Games 1-2 combined.

Kyrie and LeBron take over Game 3 with 62 points

Steph and Klay NOT dealing with adversity all that well.

At some point during the game, the camera zooms in on Coach Kerr who has Luke Walton sitting on his right and Curry on his left. Coach Kerr looking at Walton looks perplexed and almost pissed while Steph just stares off into the Never Never looking cooked, almost unable to catch his breath. Coach Kerr looks at Steph asking, "are you ok?" Credit the Cavs D!

Coach Kerr: “It wasn’t lineups or substitution patterns. We just got our tail kicked.”

Ervin Magic Johnson: "With Cleveland's blowout win tonight, the momentum has swung over to the Cavs."

1st time Cavs have scored 100 points against Warriors in their last 10 games (regular season or playoffs).

LeBron James made as many shots outside the paint in the 3rd quarter (4) as he did in the entire series prior to that (3-of-14).

Most 30-point, 10-rebound, 5-assist games, NBA Finals: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar & LeBron James, 7 each

Pretty amazing how much better JR defends when his shot is falling.

13-0 (including last night) when Cavs have 50 points or plus at half time this postseason.

SuchFriendsAreDangerous 06.09.2016 04:58 PM

Cavs can push it to six or seven if Lebron continues to play the 4. That is how he won in Miami. All his best playoff games have been him at the 4. Unless mozgov and TT are in put Lebron at PF, period. Otherwise its Dubs in 5

Bytor Peltor 06.10.2016 03:52 PM

Wanted to point out that it's been Richard Jefferson who has been making the biggest impact for the Cavs. Jefferson who was 12th on the Dallas Maverick bench is contributing in big ways.

Bytor Peltor 06.11.2016 09:11 AM

Each team won a blowout, and the two games that were close in the third quarter Golden State ended up winning by double digits.

The Brothers finally Splashed combining for 63 points.

Stephen Curry is the first player with 35 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 made 3's in an NBA Finals game.

"The eagle putt on 13 was huge."

"Make it 0-3 in the Finals without me"

Tonight, the Warriors can become the 7th team to beat the same team in a NBA Finals for two straight seasons......the last: 1997-98 Bulls vs Jazz.

With Draymond out tonight and with Klay & Steph having "pedestrian" numbers so far this series, who do you think is the favorite to win Finals MVP?

Thompson
9, 17, 10, 25

Curry
11, 18, 19, 38

Top ten teams in made 3-pointers in a season, seven from the past few seasons.
