Oh, you wanna go algebraic now? Fuck that. P-K5.

In other Covidnews, Moscow Mitch is now blaming lack of preparedness (hey, he admitted it!!) on Impeachment distraction.

How is Ruth doing?

A mousetrap baited with a glob of peanut butter works the best!

TexasGovAbbott has shut Texas schools through May 4, 2020

Wonderful, that makes me warm inside. I have been working on website and getting some material ready to release. Not my own, I am reviving label activities. I am wondering if that is worth pressing to a 7" though. Stimulus check.

I did some basic network programming today, very fun.

The Soup Nazi 04.01.2020 01:35 AM

And this is what happens when you go all-the-way psycho. From the NY Times:

Gun Ownership Soars in Brazil Under Bolsonaro

The same happens in the US. This lead John Cleese to tweet the following:
Quote:

Buying guns seems to be the default position for some of the American electorate...

When confronted by something upsetting, they buy guns

Bears...same-sex marriages....global warming...albino raccoons...long words...Hispanics...ANY kind of panics...

Let's go shopping !!!

which of course led to many protests to which he reacted. Very amusing to read ;-) In his Twitter feed, scroll down to March 25 then read upwards

Coronavirus is now the third leading cause of death in the US

“COVID-19 is now killing 748 people per day in the U.S., Dr. Maria Danilychev said, citing data from Worldometers.info:

heart disease (1,774 deaths per day)
cancer (1,641 deaths per day)”

Toronto cancels city-led and permitted events to June 30

Wimbledon 2020 canceled for first time since World War II due to coronavirus outbreak in UK

NBA 2020 season: I’ve heard a few speculate that the NBA will resume in mid July with a 7-10 games to end the regular season. The NBA post season would start last week of July with the NBA Championship concluding in August.

The NBA will then shift its season to December - August from hereafter.

The NBA might use this to change their seasons going forward, but I highly doubt they conclude anything this season.

AWESOMENESS!!!

When can I preorder?

Do you have any previous label offerings I can purchase or stream?

But you always knew it was going to be a pandemic, right? Before everyone else, RIGHT?

yeah. I'm hoping my cat is enough to keep that sucker at bay. She hangs out by the sliding door a lot. Also doesn't help that I'm like 100ft from the alley...which was the direction the mouse was headed when I saw it.

Now stop that, Soup Nazi. We must forget about Bytor's (and Trump's) early statements on this. It's what is happening NOW that counts for leadership and character.

Coronavirus death rate
over age 80 14%+
70-79 8%+
60-69 3%+
under 50 1%-
0-9 zero fatalities

Last week in Texas, SXSW was cancelled. This week, SXSW Announces They Won’t Refund Tickets.

Most Texas Universities who are either on Spring Break or will start Spring Break next week are adding a second week off from classes due to Coronavirus concerns......there is discussion about returning to virtual classes. I’m not aware of any Texas High Schools canceling classes, but just like the Universities, they too are on Spring Break.

Next week (Thursday), the NCAA March Madness Basketball Tournament begins. One of the host cities is in Ohio and just yesterday the Ohio Governor Calls on Sports to Bar Spectators Amid Coronavirus Fears. It will be impactful to watch televised sporting events taking place in empty arenas.

Gov. Inslee of Washington to ban gatherings, events of more than 250 amid coronavirus outbreak......250 isn’t many people. A decent size church runs 400 on a Sunday morning.

Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker declared a state of emergency Tuesday as the number of coronavirus cases in the state spiked to 92, more than double the 41 cases announced just 24 hours earlier.......a state of emergency over 92?

Meanwhile in Texas, the Toyota Center looked sold out for last nights Rockets game. The Houston rodeo is in the middle of its three week run averaging 60000+ patrons daily. We are headed to Houston today for shopping and fun, something my 17 year old daughter asked to do. I’m looking forward to seeing how many mask I can spy and I plan to report back with photographic evidence.

I would have more concern if I or a family member were flying and spending time in airports. Not saying I wouldn’t do it, but I’m glad it’s not a concern for us at the moment.

Fuck I'm useless at inserting images.

Anyway, back in 1938-40, leaders paid a price for stupidity. Now they get higher ratings.

Oh, you mean:

Chamberlain
Came crawling from Munich
With one piece of paper
He waved at the camera
Peace in our time
Oh thank you, herr Hitler
Tell that to the Polish
Tell that to the Jews
