CSN&Y sucks, though. Sorry.

I haven't heard Miriodor for years and years. I used to like that music quite a bit a long time ago.
Recently: White Hills/The Heads split LP Windy and Carl tour LP Henry Tree - Electric Holy Man (the jury is still out on this one; not eactly what I expected) |
Just blew too much cash on quite pricey, but irresistible, double vinyl reissues of:
A Tribe Called Quest - The Low End Theory ![]() KMD - Black Bastards ![]() Worth it. |

Good times, low turnout. Animal Collective playing a mile away at the same time really didn't help attendance. We played OK; not our greatest set ever, but not the worst. Windy and Carl played beautifully and it was great to be able to hang out with them and reconnect in person a little; we hadn't seen each other in about four years. The venue was amazing though; POSH facilities, excellent green room, excellent treatment, lovely staff. |

Gucci Mane - Murder Was The Case
Juvenile - The Greatest Hits Master P - ReMix Classics Nelly - Da Derrty Versions Slim Thug - Boss Of All Bosses Young Jeezy & USDA - Cold Summer |
Picked these up at the Sublime Frequencies tour event in Newcastle:
Omar Souleyman - Highway to Hassake (double vinyl) ![]() Group Doueh - Treeg Salaam (single vinyl) ![]() Both super deluxe. So fucking psyched. I really wanted the poster that you got from the merch stall for buying two things, but it was a friends birthday so I let him have it. Couldn't justify buying 4 items just for the poster. Pretty much the best gig ever for me. Everybody go! |

I've never been too impressed by Gucci, but I have to hear him alot blaring out of cheap stereos parked int he school hallways.. |
The Juve is sort of meh. I mean, the production is great. But pretty much every track is about how he likes to fuck. Big deal. I'd say I like about half of it. Which isn't all that promising for a greatest hits. At any rate, I'd still check out 400 DEGREEZ if I found it used.
The Gucci is actually really, really good. Definitely feeling it. And I highly recommend the new Slim Thug. Probably the gem of my haul. If anything, see if you can hear the track "I Run" somewhere online or something. It's hot. |
Miles Davis- Sketches in Spain
John Coltrane- Blue Train The Clash- London Calling bought these albums on vinyl on the same day. |
