Oh sweet!

Also yeah gohleekwang, it's always been among my favourites too. And it had THE greatest Miles Davis album cover, which, coming from the artist who made Bitches Brew, is saying something. I can just stare and stare at it. One of the great "atmospheric" albums. Just so flowing and beautiful and funky. Possibly the greatest "staying up late" album ever. Competes with the Plugged Nickel recordings and Bitches Brew for my top Miles. Oh and obviously Kind of Blue. Cliche it may be, but Blue really is an amazing record, and the reason I listen to jazz now.

I knew In a Silent Way going to be one of my absolute favorite albums ever just from hearing the first few seconds of Shhh/Peaceful. Heavenly.

I'm just coming down from a month long doom metal kick and I wanted to support independent record stores today so I made a couple of purchases. It's been nothing but snowy and rainy here in Denver so I was in the mood for some mellow tunes and I picked up "The Floodlight Collective" by Lotus Plaza, and "You Can Have What You Want" by Papercuts.
