damn

He's not literally unsackable but the board never will. Kicking himself out sounds a bit harsh. It's about him not renewing his contract. He's a very rich man now and even if he wants to continue managing there'll be plenty of clubs that'd take him. I've never seen anything like this before. The fans seem overwhelmingly against him now, even those who until recently wanted him to stay, but every indication is that he will renew. just think he needs to ask himself if he honestly thinks he can take Arsenal any further and he has to see how things have gone and admit that he can't.

"Palace wanted it more. You could sense that from the kick-off," Theo Walcott, Arsenal's stand-in captain, said.

This said it all for me. They're meant to be fighting to get a champions league place and then he says that. Absolute knobheads the lot of them. I actually feel kinda sorry for Sanchez. He must have gotten to the point where he's thinking "What more can I do?" and yet the rest of the team are still bang average.

Problem is that Wenger has only himself to blame. That's his team right there. He's approved of every player and they've shown that he massively overpaid for them, and he's been unable to coax more than a couple of decent performances from them all season.

Give me £7 million Gana over £30 million Xhaka any day.

Same, and Wenger promised him when he joined that he'd strengthen the team. Who did he bring in last summer? Xhaka, Mustafi and Lucas Perez. He had Kante in the bag but fart arsed around and lost him to Chelsea.

demonrail666 04.11.2017 01:16 PM

Reports of a bomb striking the Dortmund coach. Apparently one player injured but not seriously. Match looks like it might be cancelled.

I'm getting so sick of this shit.

h8kurdt 04.11.2017 01:20 PM

'Kin hell. Just read about it. Thank god no one was seriously hurt.

demonrail666 04.11.2017 01:25 PM

!@#$%! 04.11.2017 01:29 PM

yes taken to hospital. match will go ahead they said

h8kurdt 04.11.2017 01:29 PM

Supposedly it was a big firecracker(!). God knows how big it would have to be to break two panes of glass on a coach.

!@#$%! 04.11.2017 01:31 PM

oh just 2 panels? not too big

it's kinda funny now that it's not terrorism

poor marc bartra. my wife and i were just talking about him last weekend.

demonrail666 04.11.2017 01:33 PM

Agreed. Like I said, how big would it have to be to be a firecracker?

Anyway, I'm gonna come off here as I'm watching the game later.

!@#$%! 04.11.2017 01:38 PM

juve-barca starts in 7'

!@#$%! 04.11.2017 01:53 PM

oh lol looks like barca setting up to need a 2nd miracle ha ha ha

demonrail666 04.11.2017 01:54 PM

Even without the goal Juve are all over them. Hiquain should've scored within a minute.

!@#$%! 04.11.2017 02:08 PM

i was coming in to say how gigi buffon is the greatest and dybala again blamo ah ha ha ha ha ha

demonrail666 04.11.2017 02:10 PM

lol he still hasn't, with his offside

just managed to come back in to see the final score!

happy with the result. need to catch what i missed. how fun was it?

demonrail666 04.12.2017 03:23 AM

The 2nd half just saw Juventus holding strong and even nicking a 3rd goal. Barca just weren't at it. The story of the tie overall might end up being the difference between the two defences.

I know after PSG you can never write Barcelona off and I wouldn't be surprised if they beat Juve in the 2nd leg but not by enough to turn the tie around. Juventus just look too solid to suffer a collapse like that.

Dortmund and Monaco rescheduled for tonight, along with Real v Bayern and Atletico v Leicester.

Leicester v Atletico has an obvious intrigue but I can't realistically see Leicester standing much of a chance. So it'll probably be Real v Bayern for me, even though ideally I'd like to see them both eliminated.

_slavo_ 04.12.2017 07:03 AM

Poor Barca. They obviously really want Enrique out.

!@#$%! 04.12.2017 07:22 AM

i came home to rewatch the first half, because it was so pretty i had to show my wife

then we ran out of internet and saved the rest for today ha ha ha

That wouldn't account for the heroics against PSG.

They definitely need to strengthen in defence. In terms of leadership and solidity, they've never really replaced Puyol.

Plus I'm not sure why but I've never been a huge fan of Rakitic. I'd love to see them somehow prise Verratti from PSG as a replacement but PSG won't look at any offer under €80m.

!@#$%! 04.12.2017 11:55 AM

holy shit im late for dortmund-monaco

cant find a score anywhere

oh 0-0 still

demonrail666 04.12.2017 12:08 PM

Not so fast.

1 0 to monaco. And they missed a penalty too.

!@#$%! 04.12.2017 12:10 PM

i can't see how that goal is NOT offside

but yeah i was right to fear monaco

demonrail666 04.12.2017 12:14 PM

Mbappe looked on to me but will need to see it from another angle

!@#$%! 04.12.2017 12:22 PM

bender you fucking stoner!

this is the end for dortmund. 2 goals away and monaco is no slouch

with dortmund in 4th place right now the 4-1 defeat to bayern and now this i think tuchel is starting to smell

!@#$%! 04.12.2017 12:50 PM

bender subbed out, pulisic in, looks like tuchel finally had his coffee

demonrail666 04.12.2017 01:07 PM

There's been lots of talk here connecting him with the Arsenal job should Wenger walk.

demonrail666 04.12.2017 01:16 PM

They've definitely improved since Pulisic came on

!@#$%! 04.12.2017 01:17 PM

they must like possession and germanic lastnames

and yes that lil' boy is great

demonrail666 04.12.2017 01:20 PM

Speaking of last names, I don't know if Bender has a similar meaning in the US but he'd have a hard time in the Prem.

demonrail666 04.12.2017 01:27 PM

Was just gonna say Falcao should've just killed the tie when Mbappe finally has

demonrail666 04.12.2017 01:28 PM

... or maybe not

!@#$%! 04.12.2017 01:28 PM

going on a bender here is when you drink your way to madness--usu for days

bender bending rodriguez is the futurama robot

btw, socrates unfairly neutered early but props to monaco for their 3-1

no, 3-2 kagawa hell yea

A guy I know who's an Everton fan and a massive homophobe has a big problem saying the name Gueye.

Well I guess it was a silly idea of me to give this game a miss. Also, Monaco were big underdogs in this game betting-wise. Knew I should have put a fiver on them.

Then again, that was before this crap last night.

!@#$%! 04.12.2017 02:08 PM

bartra having a broken wrist (firecrackers?) was what opened door to poor out of shape bender in the first place (hasnt played in a while)

i never thought of monaco as underdog-- not after the last round

this bayern/real game is kinda tight
