You know, for 16 you look a whole lot older.

Danny Himself 04.05.2007 07:25 PM

I was thinking THE EXACT SAME THING.

drrrtyboots 04.05.2007 07:27 PM

Great minds...

Danny Himself 04.05.2007 07:29 PM

Indeed.

Alex's Trip 04.05.2007 07:32 PM

Thank you both.

I'll try to buy an R rated ticket now.

drrrtyboots 04.05.2007 07:35 PM

Fuck that, go for the big boys. Buy some alcohol or get into clubs!

Alex's Trip 04.05.2007 07:42 PM

There are no clubs where I live. And no one wants to drink with me. :(

But the sentiment is appreciated.

drrrtyboots 04.05.2007 07:45 PM

That is certainly a bummer...but in a few years when you're still under 21 yet all of your friends are up for partying, itll all pan out great.

Alex's Trip 04.05.2007 08:57 PM

It should. I'll hope for the best.

Me and the Teisco

Me and the Tele

drrrtyboots 04.05.2007 11:06 PM

Not plugged in? C'mon now.

Sonic Youth 37 04.05.2007 11:10 PM

No, not plugged in. I'm lazy. I am actually playing though, not just posing.

drrrtyboots 04.05.2007 11:12 PM

I can see that in the picture for the teisco for sure. I really need to fix the bridge on my JM or ill go crazy. I'm lazy too though so it stays fucked up for weeks.

Sonic Youth 37 04.05.2007 11:23 PM

Half the time I don't plug in because it's too much hassle to untangle all my chords and coax my amp into sounding decent.

drrrtyboots 04.05.2007 11:31 PM

That's understandable, i go through the same predicament on a given day.

Found this one tonight, it was a 70's Party and we were kicking ass.

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 04.06.2007 11:24 AM

drrrtyboots 04.07.2007 08:41 PM

A free guitar is a free guitar either way. Nice guy.

StevOK 04.07.2007 09:15 PM

Hi, my name is Tom. I run a website called MySpace. Have you heard of it?

StevOK 04.07.2007 09:20 PM

That's one hell of a pretty Strat, Blatherskite! How old is it?

If you want to know the date, you could unbolt the neck and look at the end and inside the cavity for a date/manufacturing stamp.

what are the first few characters of the serial number?

for instance, my strat's first three characters are MZ3, meaning it was made in Mexico (M) in '03 (Z3).

You're right, especially if the collector couldn't date it. I tried modifying my Squier and I accidentally scratched off the serial number (not that it mattered), so I just put a big "#001" on the back of the head in sharpie.

Sonic Youth 37 04.07.2007 11:13 PM

Faded and bleach-stained Strat shirt and Tele sans pickguard
