Since at least 2015, mothers incarcerated with their children have staged protests and hunger strikes within immigrant prisons—and testified to the horrific conditions they have faced."

Note: Obama continued the practice until it was halted by Flores v. Lynch, 828 F.3d 898 (9th Cir. 2016).

NPR is making out like the children are being processed into some vague and unknown foster system by HHS and DHS - which is just another way for the kids to get trafficked - this is the worst situation possible, or as bad as the gangs in Honduras that now have free reign forcing your kid into prostitution, thanks to the criminal enterprise that took over the country through a US approved coup, under Obama and while H. The images were displayed at a "permanent separation" event held by the administration.

At one point during the event, Trump pointed to a photo of someone who had been killed and joked: "Tom Selleck, except better looking."
